On Memorial Day, one employee was on his phone behind the counter and one jumped up from where he was sitting in the lobby(on his phone) to begrudgingly help us. Meanwhile, the entire time we were there, there was a napkin in the middle of the floor of the lobby and a good number of things that could have been restocked. The pizza itself was mediocre, but still hit the spot. I think I prefer their strombolis.

The pizza here was actually very good! Nice crispy thin crust, delicious sauce, and fresh toppings. The best part was that you can order by the slice. They toss it in the oven and crisp it up. Yum! Holy Gelato! The gelato here is so good!!! I ended up sampling like 6 flavors before deciding on strawberry. I wish I could eat their gelato every day. So Good!!!

Worst pizza I have ever had. I don’t know why a company would go into business with the word«Pizza» in the title if they are going to serve a mediocre product. Do not waste your time. Inevitably you’re going to be walking by during lunch and thinking, maybe I’ll just stop in. Don’t. Or you’ll think maybe it won’t be that bad. It will be. Don’t waste your time or money. I couldn’t even eat the slice I bought. I had to throw it away. Don’t do it.

I’m sorry, the pizza here is just terrible. It’s in my building so I’ve gone out of desperation before when other lunch places are packed. Each time I’ve regretted it. A vending machine lunch would be better.

Don’t bother… eat somewhere else, where the food is better. Tables dirty. Trash on floor. You get the idea.

Review for gelato: Large chocolate gelato, tastes just like any other chocolate ice cream. Met my chocolate craving for the evening.

Went to DC with my BestFriend. When we arrived to the hotel we were hungry and came across this place. The worst pizza I’ve had EVER. Their gelato was yummy though!

Pizza is just average. They sell it by the slice or whole 17″ pies. Tastes like a dominos type pizza a step above frozen. Don’t see the authentic portion or the pizza. They don’t even offer fresh mushrooms, canned only. YUCK

Worst pizza ever. And so over priced. I didn’t look at the menu before ordering a slice… $ 4.50 a slice !? and terrible. Crust = terrible texture and flavor; sauce = not sure what can this came from, but horrible; cheese = nothing close to real mozzarella; toppings = normal, but the pepperoni was standard grocery store bad pepp. Please do not go here so they can go out of business and something better will move in.

I am liking their pizza over time. Bizarre thing is that fire alarm went off and everyone acted like it was just normal. Does this happen frequently here? Guy didn’t even bother to raise his voice so I could hear him over alarm even though I said what at least 5 times. Couldn’t hear a word he said. But my sausage pepperoni pizza was great and nice and hot. No beer pitchers like the Ballston location, BOOOO!

Had the worst Spinach Stromboli ever, under cook and fill with raw dough. I just finished puking. Stay away cheap food get what you pay for. It deserved a zero star, but I got my money back.

There is nothing good, let alone authentic, about this pizza. It was really greasy(not in a delicious cheese-flavored grease way, but in an eating straight canola oil way), the italian sausage had no flavor(I didn’t know you could purchase flavorless italian sausage), the bottom wasn’t black but tasted like it(I assume something had burned onto the oven and they hadn’t cleaned it), and the crust was soggy. I won’t be back.

It’s not the best pizza I’ve ever had, but I am a fan! I ordered a stuffed pizza and tried a veggie pizza. Both were cooked very well with just the right amount of crispiness!

I work across the street so when you have a pizza craving and you can smell it wafting from across 15th street it’s hard not to cave. Every time though, I regret my decision. Crust –pretty tasteless with a hint of deep fried Chinese food flavor. Sauce– No good. Cheese– cheap Toppings– AWFUL If you MUST fulfill a craving spare yourself and just get the plain cheese. The toppings are awful!!! Why can’t D.C. just do regular good pizza. Matchbox and Red Rocks are designer pizza. I want regular NY style pizza. Still looking for it.

So here we are, the Jon Stewart rally just ended, my feet are wobbling from standing so much, and even Café Mozart has a line out the door. Also, we needed to go on the Metro to get home and Farragut North wasn’t crowded or far away, so my friend and I decided to give this place a try. I got a cheese and a bag of chips, and she got a veggie. The pizza was thick and not so greasy when you wipe your hands on your pants it looks like you wet yourself. It kind of reminded me of Three Brothers, in a good way. It was also cheap, and the service people were pleasant. I’ll come back if I’m in the neighborhood and give the gelato a try. All in all, a nice place to have a slice.

Bad doughy, sweet sauce cafeteria quality pizza. How is it that this place is able to open up several locations.

Serviceable local pizza place close to home. I think the name is a bit of a misnomer, I didn’t see much«autentica» about this pizza place, basically in the lobby/ground floor of a newish office building on 15th Street NW. We were hungry last night and my fiancée wanted pizza. Normally we’d walk over to Alberto’s on Dupont but we felt like trying a new place, I walk or ride by here every day on the way to work and it is always busy at all times of the day. We thought we’d give it a shot. Last night was no exception, it was somewhat busy with what looked to be your standard tourist crowd. We were able to walk right up to the counter and order, my fiancée got a slice of the veggie to go, right out of the oven. I picked up the stuffed slice with pepperoni and sausage. Both came out to less than $ 10 for the 2 of us, not bad. Is it the best pizza in the city, probably not, but it worked for us. It was worth checking out and I’d probably go back again out of sheer convenience. Outside seating is a nice option but the weather was still too balmy last night and we were only getting a couple slices to take home for a movie.

Newly opened location. Outside seating great for upcoming sunny weather. The pizza offered is above avg size for a slice at a decent price. The selection of calzones, salads and even gelato are fun choices for a quick lunch. Staff was a little unfriendly and reminded me of workers on a food line even though the place was not that packed.
