I’m done with this Pizza Hut. We were sick, so we didn’t want to venture out in the cold, and pizza sounded like a good idea because we were starving. Well, after we received our order, we realized we were idiots for thinking this was a great plan. Behold, the disappointing crap which came in cardboard boxes: The cheesy breadsticks were barely cheesy. His Pepperoni pizza was barely cheesy. My veggie pizza was definitely cheesy relative to what’s above, but the crust was under-cooked. The parts of it which were cooked resembled a cheap focaccia more than a cheap pizza, i.e. WAY too much of a puffy crust and not enough toppings to balance that out. How do you eff up pizza this badly? I didn’t really think you could, but this Pizza Hut manages to, on a regular basis. How proud they must be.

It’s been 1.5 hours and I’m still waiting! I live in the neighborhood — like 5 blocks away. They never answer their phone and I just tried the online ordering — confirmed that they received the order immediately and I’ve been on hold now for 10 minutes. No pizza, no contact. I don’t recommend delivery from here — I usually call in the order and do carryout. Oh and they don’t accept any of the online coupons over the phone — they tell you to order via online.

Everybody’s had Pizza Hut before at some point in their life. You either like it or not but we can petty much agree that Pizza Hut is a reliable constant in the vast unknown of pizza delivery. You know what the pizza should taste like even before you see it. And at the very least, you know it’ll be a decent pizza. Or, at least, that’s what we thought. My buddies came over for poker starve-crazed last night. Its bad enough already that our order wouldn’t arrive until 55 minutes but its simply inexcusable to have soggy pizza. If this is what the new Pizza Mia™ tastes like, then the slogan should change from«Never Tasted So Good”™ to «Never Tasted Good.» The crust was soft and limp. The toppings were few and far between. The tomato and cheese base was absolutely bland. Nothing about this pizza remotely tasted like a regular Pizza Hut pizza. The $ 5-pizza deal sounded good on paper but, in reality, we felt as if we were robbed of our $ 22(three $ 5 pizzas + tax + $ 1.50 delivery charge + $ 3 tip). 2 Stars — I’m never ordering the Pizza Mia pizza and I don’t recommend that you try it. I can buy store-bought DYI frozen pizza that’s cheaper and better tasting. However, I admit that this review is limited to one bad experience concerning one particular Pizza Hut franchise.
