They don’t speak a lick of English, and that doesn’t help when you’re trying to place an order… It was not until the manager came out and spoke to me that I got my order in. It wasn’t a clean environment which I hated. My sandwich tasted okay for what I got, but then again, if you fuck up a roast beef and swiss cheese sandwich, you’re pretty much worthless to sub shop. I am never returning here.

I love Quiznos, I used to eat it like twice a week back home… but this location makes me want to go crazy. The Navy Yard area is suffering from a severe shortage of sandwich joints. We all got spoiled by Crystal City where there were like 8 sandwich shops on the same block. The result is that this Quiznos and the Subway down by the Navy Yard metro become ridiculously packed during normal lunch hours. At least with Subway you can grab a cold sub early and let it sit at your desk for a couple of hours without it getting too soggy or nasty. But Quiznos toasted subs don’t hold up to that kind of punishment so you’re forced to come during prime lunchtime ordering hours. Expect the wait in line to be at least 15 – 20 minutes with the high probability that there will be no tables open to sit and eat, and that the people making your sandwich might not even know what tomato or lettuce means(prepare to point and mime). I thought about taking away a star due to the lack of tables and the fact that the line takes forever… but it’s really not their fault, they have enough people working(and they work pretty quickly), they just have limited space(and one oven) to work with. So just take a valium and try to be patient.
