We offer a wide variety of home improvement for residents of Washington DC.
Note for NEW CLIENTS: Due to the overwhelming number of new requests for work, we are often unable to keep up with the recent increased demand or even to reply to many of you who have contacted us. We apologize to those of you who have not gotten a response. We are constantly going through the backlog of messages and sending out replies, but sometimes we simply can’t get back to everyone in a timely manner. We are working on ways to better serve you in the future.
Please understand if you don’t hear from us right away — we are just EXTREMELY busy! We are often booked up weeks in advance.
Our business hours for all appointments and estimates are Monday through Friday 9:00am to 6:00pm. We do not work outside of those times or on weekends.
Meet the Business Owner
Michael J.
Business Owner
I’m a North Carolina native and former student at UNC-Chapel Hill who moved to DC in 1996. After a variety of jobs and a short time as a landscape architect after returning to school at the University of Maryland, I began my own small artisan home improvement business in the fall of 2007. Starting with just a hammer and a drill and a 1998 Jetta with a sunroof (great for transporting lumber!), I learned to do all the work myself. Now, just a few years later, I have a cargo van full of all the tools and supplies needed to perform almost any home repair or remodeling project. I specialize in creative solutions to problems other contractors may not have the patience or ability to solve. Every situation is different, and that’s what I enjoy most about the work I do.
My overall theme is creating environments where people can thrive, whether this is a full bath remodel, a basement build-out and renovation, or simply fixing a leaky toilet or a broken doorknob.
