There are many varieties of wonderful services to choose from, beginning with the relaxation of Swedish Massage. Deep Tissue Massage is a massage technique that focuses on the deeper level of muscle tissue. Signature Massage is our most popular massage, a combination between Swedish and Deep Tissue massage. Sport Massage is typically used before, during and after athletic events. Couples Massage share the experience of a massage with your loved one or a friend. Both of you will receive a massage at the same time in the same room with two of our professional female and male massage therapists. Massage for man and woman !

The two owners have over 8 years of experience. They worked for one of Washington DC’s busiest Spa.

I completed the Massage Therapy Training Certification Program at Potomac Massage Training Institute — Washington, District of Columbia in 2008. I am Nationally Certified in Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork from The American Massage Therapy Association. In addition I am professionally insured with AMTA.

I was born in 1979 in Sofia, Bulgaria and I am the youngest brother of three –Vlad, my 10 minute older twin brother and Lubo. I swim, play soccer and basketball and have spotted on a rowing team for more than 8 years. I was on the Bulgarian National Rowing Team. I studied at the National Sport Academy, majoring in physical education and rowing. I moved to the US in 2002 and Vlad and I have been rowing on the team for the Potomac Boat Club. I was inspired by my past sports education and experiences to study Massage Therapy and help re-​educate people about physical activity, stretching and an active lifestyle.

Five stars for Peter, no doubt about it. My BFF raves about Ivo’s massages, too. This place is perfect if you’re taking the Orange/​Silver line in from NoVA. Simple 10-​min walk up from Farragut West station; maybe 15 minutes if you’re taking it slow.
I’m very active at the gym and the yoga studio, and now that I’m approaching my mid-30’s, deep tissue massage is essential therapy, for both body and mind. I’ve booked Peter 5 – 10 times now for a 90-​min session. He’s just a fantastic therapist: exceptionally hard-​working, sensitive and intelligent.
Customer service has always been professional and friendly. The facility is very clean, and these guys take pride in keeping things relaxed and simple for their customers. Go for it!

I don’t like writing poor reviews, but I was largely disappointed with this massage studio. My overall experience:
CONS
* Could NOT find the place! There was NO sign to point the place out — I called and talked to the receptionist who, unfortunately, told me it was in the same building as Fatty’s tattoo (caution: it’s NOT). Finally, I was able to locate the place b/​c I went into 3 different buildings.
* Once there, I was told that I could use the restroom if needed. but then she disappeared and did not tell me where the restroom was located. So, I continued my search (this time for a bathroom) until I asked another employee who then directed me to a very UNMARKED door. Also, the restroom trashcan is actually on the counter, and you have to lift the lid — kind of disgusting.
* My masseuse was Ivo (very nice guy!) and I asked for a deep tissue massage with focus being on my shoulders/​neck. What I received was NOT a deep tissue massage, but a soft-​medium pressure Swedish massage. There was also NO focus on my problem areas, and I left the massage with the same muscle spasm (s) that I came with (and no improvement).
* I had read on their website that you would be offered a warm towel to rub the oil off with once the massage was complete — didn’t happen.
* Once the massage was complete and I was ready to pay, I waited. and waited. and waited. That was fun.
PROS
* The masseuse was very friendly and professional.
* They offered me water.
* There were two comfortable chairs available to sit in (waiting/​reception area).
That’s about it. As nice as the masseuse was, I will not be going back. This was probably my worst massage experience in DC. Hope someone finds this helpful!

Totally amazing team at Revive. It’s 5 stars for service and for an amazing DC value. I went to Revive on a recommendation for pain relief and it’s hands down the best 60 minutes of my life every couple weeks. Staff is friendly and professional and they make you feel at ease and never rushed.

I was driving home from a particularly bad dentist appointment, nerves completely shot, my hands were shaking, my neck was killing me, the traffic was a nightmare, and I decided to try Siri on my iphone and ask her for «massage near me.» Siri popped up several names and I started calling them while sitting at the lights, and the first one who could take me for a massage right this minute was Revive Massage. My lucky day. There was a parking spot open right in front of the steps! and I walked up one flight to a very very clean, bright, pleasant space and was shown to a lovely room where I ripped off my clothes and flung myself upon the table and got 90 minutes of deep tissue massage. I walked out on a cloud, serene, a goddess. If you are sick of going for massage where somebody rubs you like a girl dusting a table, and you have serious Washington DC STRESS, go there and ask for Petar. I promise you won’t be sorry.

My boyfriend and I went for a signature couples massage on a Sunday. We arrived 5 mins late for our appointment and then had to sit in the lobby while the receptionist answered phones and cashed out other customers (this took about 10 minutes). We were paired with a male and female masseuse and ushered in. Our masseuses didn’t ask us any questions about what we wanted and weren’t particularly friendly. The massages were definitely decent, but the customer service at this place really needs improvement. We only got 40 minutes and had to pay for 60 minutes, even though the delay in getting us in fell on the Revive staff. I understand knocking off 5 minutes from the 60 since we were 5 mins late, but twenty? Come on. This place is also a bit shabby and not what it looks like in the photographs on the website. We would not recommend this to our friends and will have to find another spot in the DC area.

I’ve been enjoying massages at Revive for about 6 months, and have consistently had amazing experiences each time. The staff is friendly and the space is clean and inviting, which sets the tone for the massage experience and puts you at ease.
Most importantly, the massage experience itself is phenomenal. The rooms are cozy and tranquil, with a true spa-​like vibe and (my favorite) warm massage tables. Petar is my go-​to therapist, and he is professional, courteous, friendly and attentive. He does his best to ensure you will get a personalized massage that focuses on any trouble spots. His technique is superb and he is very intuitive on the right amount of pressure for each phase of the session.
As if all of this weren’t enough, Revive Massage DC offers a great location, easy online booking, and very good value for the service provided. If you’re in DC and need a relaxing, therapeutic massage, I highly recommend Revive!

Wow, just wow. I had such an amazing massage by Anna. It was the perfect deep tissue massage and I will definitely return. The rooms aren’t fancy and there is old carpeting/​tile but I came for the massage as opposed to a spa experience.

I’ve been coming to Revive for over a year now, and every visit has been no less that excellent. Making an appointment online is incredibly easy, and every appointment, even last-​minute, has been both possible, and honored. The massage studio is simply and tastefully outfitted; exceptionally clean, and welcoming. The staff at the front desk are helpful. Each massage room is private and quiet and the beds are comfortable and heated. The linens are fresh, and the ambiance is just right, with dim lighting and calming music. The price is very fair.
Now for what truly matters: The massage itself. I’ve had numerous 90 minute sessions with both Petar and Ivo, and both of these guys are superb. Every time, and for the whole massage, they give 110%. In addition to being just really nice guys, both are intuitive, clearly knowledgeable, and STRONG! I suffer with chronic back pain, but every time I walk out of this place, I feel like a new man.
I am a tough critic, but this place simply deserves 5 stars.

The massage I got was great! The masseuse was very thoughtful and I tipped her well. Overall service was bad.
1. They were running 30 minutes behind. So after I got there early to make sure that I was respectful of my appt time, I then waited for 45 min. There seemed to be minimal concern that this is not acceptable.
2. The 10% off they say you get for first timers via Unilocal checkin — Not true. Doesn’t apply to all massages apparently. So not only was I not given consideration for my long wait in any way but then they told me this did not apply either.
It’s not at all the principle of the money — I’m not someone who constantly looks for the next deal. I just want to find a place I can trust to provide good service and this is not it.

Really great massage with Karen. Got a combination massage, and she applied the perfect amount of pressure. I also liked that she did not talk much, but there were a few things that would have been nice if she was more communicative of, such as asking me what specific areas to focus on (never got the feet massaged and would have liked that) and letting me know that she tied my necklace to the side of my purse (at the end of the massage I spent a bit of time looking all over inside my purse for the necklace only to see it tied as a slipknot on the side). She paid particular attention to my back and said that it was really tight and also didn’t slather on too much oil, which can be annoying in other salons.

I came here on May 29th for a birthday massage. I don’t get them regularly and have probably had about 3 professional massages in my life prior to this one. This one was the best I’ve had thus far.
I was able to easily call and make a reservation in advance for my massage. They asked about gender preferences and I stated male as I have never had a massage from a guy before. They were friendly on the phone and had no problem getting me in. I used one of their discounts (can’t remember if it was Unilocal or first timer). It cost $ 72 – 74 for the hour long massage.
Upon arrival, it was hard to find, up a flight of stairs adjacent to a restaurant. It isn’t any 5* type set-​up but the place was tidy and clean. Unlike other places I’ve been there wasn’t any paperwork to fill out. She just took me to the room and let me in to wait. I undressed down to my underwear and waited.
Peter was my massage therapist and I thought he was very good. He asked only if any particularly areas had been bothering me and if there was anywhere I wanted him to focus on. For some reason I was slightly nervous but the therapist was very reassuring and gave me some good tips. The combination of the larger hand size and strength definitely combined to give me an optimal massage and I would probably stick with men in the future. The signature, like others have said, was the perfect combination between Swedish style and deeper strokes. The only thing I regret is not having him massage my head. He asked about this and I declined for some reason lol. Anywho! It was probably a little expensive to do monthly but I would definitely return every other month or so and will def. request Peter again. Great experience overall!

I’ve had four deep tissues massages at Revive now, due to chronic neck and shoulder pain. Ivo is wonderful and definitely knows his stuff; I always leave feeling ten times better! However, I’ve seen three others on short notice, and all left me feeling worse after I left. It seems that Ivo/​Peter/​Jade are the best to book with.
The place is a bit inconspicuous – located on the second floor above a restaurant – but very clean and nicely decorated too. Revive is definitely the best value for your money in the area.

Was a decent massage, I’ve had worse and have had better. Clean facility, pricing was misleading thought we ordered one type of massage until time to pay $ 25 more was a surprise but when you’re on the spot you just pay it.
Most expensive massage I’ve ever had at $ 90 WITH Unilocal discount for 60 min.
I’ll stay with my AZ prices at $ 25 – 35 an hour massages from now on.

Anytime I’m in DC, I will definitely be coming back to Revive Massage.
I had a deep tissue massage with Ivo for 90 minutes and those 90 minutes were pure bliss! I had just ran a 15k in Philly the day before and was feeling sore and tired. I was on vacation in DC and couldn’t enjoy everything with my poor sore muscles so I scheduled an appointment and it was lovely.
Book with Ivo, he really knows what he is doing! It hurt so GOOD, enough pressure to help my muscles but thoroughly enjoyable. (also he asked multiple times throughout the massage if the pressure was good, and it was).
They have the best prices around. Think bliss spa level massage but cheaper prices. The outside doesn’t look like much but once you get inside, they have a clean and peaceful atmosphere.
Next year, I plan to run a 10K in DC and I’ll definitely book a massage here as well.

I wanted to give zero stars but that’s not an option. Never before have I been so appalled with how a service oriented business is so unprofessional.
I had a massage booked with Petar and he went ahead and gave my appointment to someone else without calling, texting, emailing, or contacting me in any way. In fact, he blamed me for his mistake and made no attempt to honor our confirmed appointment, except to pass me off to someone else I have not worked with before.
Then through a barrage of texts, he went into all these excuses, from how because I didn’t send him a text confirming the confirmation (because I was asleep as he was texting me late at night) to how he has to sacrifice for his 4 year old son (really? what???) and then goes on to lecture me about not being emotional or taking this personally, neither of which I was doing. Mind you, this is all through TEXTING!
So I’m getting on a plane back to LA with painful knots all along my spine after hula hooping at the White House Easter Egg Roll for 8 non-​stop hours yesterday, and a bad taste in my mouth from the most unprofessional exchange I’ve ever had with any service «business» ever.
I’m sure Petar’s good at massaging (I’ve had some through the years with Iso who is outstanding). But Petar is really really really bad at communicating and customer service. Not cool. They officially lost a customer.
This is the first negative review I’ve ever given on Unilocal.That’s how uncool Petar handled this situation.

I was looking for a place last minute after work on a Monday and I was booked not because they’re not good but they have 6 rooms!
Great therapist, calm relaxing rooms, smells good, bathrooms are clean which is a great sign of any establishment (write that one down)
Only not great thing I can say is location, parking is nuts on Connecticut so timing is important :)

HORRIBLE customer service!
I booked a couples massage for Valentine’s Day over a month in advance, knowing that slots would fill up quickly. I accepted a morning appointment upon being told that 11:30am and 8:30pm were the only times still available.
Today (Feb 13th) I received several phone calls from the spa. On the first call, they wanted to know if my husband and I would be ok being in separate rooms for our massages, due to the influx of couples wanting to book on the 14th. I said we definitely wanted to stay together. When they called back a second time, they again asked for us to be ok with being split up and when I again said no, they asked if we could move our appointment time from 11:30am to 10:30. This interfered with a brunch reservation so I declined this as well.
This was the whole reason I had booked in advance. So I wouldn’t have to deal with this crap. They kept talking about other couples wanting to book and that they hoped everything would work out as far as our room and time went, but definitely sounding like they had completely overbooked appointments and masseurs.
I promptly told them to cancel our appointment. There is no way I am going to pay $ 190 for a couples massage when I have no idea if they will start on time; if they will rush through the massage (chances are, they will) and when I know the service will be sub par.
Ridiculous way to handle customers! I will never return and you can believe that I will tell everyone I know about way this was handled.

This was my first professional massage, all my previous history with massages consisted of significant others giving me a half ass rubbing for 2 minutes so she could get some reciprocation, so I might be swayed by the fact that any woman would be willing to rub me down longer than 5 minutes.
I enjoyed this place, a little hard to find as they have a sign in the middle of the sidewalk but no real sign over the door, so look for the address more than any signage.
Booking was easy, I was given a coupon, you call give them your coupon number, the sex preference for your therapist and you’re done. Front room staff was friendly, I was checked in and offered water as soon as I arrived.
The massage was good, I got the Signature a combination, Deep Tissue and Swedish. My therapist was through, just the right amount of pressure throughout the massage, this was a full body rub down and she made me feel quite relaxed by the end.
Definitely worth a visit, friendly service, clean environment and excellent all around experience.
