F Street Bistro, my ass. I ate here when it was still RH Bistro. It’s pretty good. I like the sweet potato fries and lentil soup. The panko-crusted chicken tenders were good, too.

Riverhorse Bistro(or something like that) A great restaurant for going with friends and shooting the shit. Food is delicious compared to the normal GW food and its got a great combination of salads and entrees to choose from. My personal favorite still has to be the chicken parm, its a huge entrée so it lasts you for lunch on a second day. Takes GW World for all you GW kids.

Foggy Bottom folks know there is an incredible lack of decent food in the area. A few of the office buildings around have cafeterias, but restaurant options are chain(Bertucci’s, etc.), expensive(Kinkead’s), or wack(Subway – no offense to those who like it but I can’t deal with the bread). For the in-betweeners RH Bistro is a perfect solution. Its hidden away on F Street, so many people haven’t discovered it yet, but the food is really done well. From fish tacos to hamburgers, everything is tasty and the prices are great – around $ 10 pp including drinks. It’s not big but they have a covered patio for outdoor dining in good weather, and the service is efficient. The employees are mostly GW students from what I can tell, and it seems like management has made an effort to only hire the nice kids. It’s been a treat to take my jaded co-workers over there when the finally tire of our second rate cafeteria. There IS some good food in the Bottom!
