I had John and his crew of Scott Decorative Concrete install a 1,600 square feet sidewalk made of special ordered pavers. The project was located outside of the main hospital at the National Institutes of Health so it was very important that the project be done professionally, clean, and fast. They championed over those requirements and they stayed ahead of schedule and on budget.

The correct name is «Scott Decorative Concrete LLC,» by the way. The owner is very disrespectful and even threatened to hurt a lady who is noticeably pregnant when they were in disagreement. We had to call the police on him and he lacked so much class and professionalism, that he did so in his truck with all of his business information on display for all. I will never support this business.

Project started out ok; Scott was very responsive and started work right away. However, after several wrong turns(couldn’t get the cement the right color for the wall, didn’t re-surface floor, put sealer on walls that dripped and yellowed the color of the walls and also stunk up the entire block, then chipped paint on walls when trying to remove it), I became very unhappy with his services, especially when he insisted on final payment when elements of the job hadn’t been completed. He came over unannounced and late at night demanding to be paid even though the job wasn’t finished. After two weeks of not coming back or phoning or responding to emails and having left all his work materials in front of my condo, I asked him not to return.
