Send Towing

I needed a towtruck yesterday. After waiting 1.5 hours for the one the Volkswagen Roadside Assistance had called for me, I called in to check on the ETA. I was told that it would probably be another hour before the towtruck arrived. We all know what that means — it would be more like another 1.5 hours (at least)! I started looking online for another tow company to save me, and on my second call, I wound up with Send Towing. They told me that they’d be there in 20 minutes. Much to my surprise, Send showed up in less than 15 minutes … in rush hour and right as it was about to rain! The driver, Simon, was friendly and courteous. He got my car and me safely to the dealer, and he did so with a smile on his face the entire time. His truck was clean and comfortable. I’d recommend Simon and Send Towing to anyone …

The other day while ending a great weekend in DC, I learned that the Doubletree on Rhode Island Ave NW had lost my car key and that I would not be able to get home. The hotel called SendtowingDC and Simon was there in short order. He towed my car back to Richmond, VA and was able to put my car in it’s parking spot like I drove it there. Fortunately, I had a spare key in my condo! He was a really nice guy to spend almost 3 hrs with and not for one second did I feel unsafe. The cab of his tow truck was very clean too!

Quick, convenient service. Brought my car to where it needed to go AND dropped me off at the bus station! Thank you Simon!

Yesterday I broke down in the middle of Downtown DC. What made this a huge problem is that I live south of Richmond and I was on my way out of the city. So Im broken down on the side of the road and quickly did a search to find a good towing company with positive reviews. At the top of the list was Send Towing, so I called them to tow me. 20 minutes after I called, Simon pulled up and saved me. Not only is he one of the nicest people but he also towed my car to a friend’s shop where he knew I’d get quality service at a fair price. When we pulled up at the shop he even pleaded with his friend to help. Mind you, it was 2:30pm and the day before 4^th of July. A few hours after I was dropped off at the service station, Simon called to check up on me and make sure I was doing ok. Call Send Towing if you want quality service at a fair price!!!

I highly recommend these guys. I arranged for a tow at the location where my car broke down. They showed up 15 minutes ahead of the time they said they would and even called to me to let me they were there and for me to take my time. Very pleasant guy, Simon, no drama or attitude. I like it when people do what they say they will do and, most importantly, maintain contact!!! That’s all it takes people! Very professional and it was clear to me that they have lots of experience towing cars judging from how accurately and how well Simon, the tow guy, maneuvered my vehicle in tight spots on narrow DC streets without causing any damage. From here on, A Send will be my go to towing service. They take credit cards, too!!!

My vehicle had recently broken down in Washington, DC and I looked online for a towing service with positive reviews. Low & behold I located Simon at Send Towing. He provided prompt professional courtesy service. Lets hope my vehicle does not break down again in the future, but if so I would definitely contact Simon @ Send again.

This company sent a truck to our location in ten minutes, hooked us up and we were on our way. Fair pricing, fast service.

A few months ago I went through a series of unfortunate car troubles. After my car failed to start a couple of times (a few of which were in not so convenient places/​situations) I decided it was time to take it in and stop being that pathetic person on the side of the street begging for someone to help me jump start my car. Unfortunately after I replaced the battery, it turned out I needed to get the transmission fixed as well. I drove my car to my parent’s condo in NW DC on a rainy day and instead of parking it in the garage, I decided it was a smart idea to park on the street. Of course, after I stopped to drop off my dog inside, I got back in the car and it wouldn’t start. The auto shop was only 2 blocks away; needless to say my car troubles were not getting better.
I walked down the street to the mechanic shop and one of the regulars I know even walked back to my car and tried to help me start it with a mobile jump start kit but that didn’t work. After calling a few local towing companies without any luck, I tried to call some of the contacts that the mechanic shop offered me and I didn’t get an answer or call back from any of them. Mind you this is all in my rush to save my car from getting a ticket before the two hours I am allowed to park on the street in DC.
All of the companies I called didn’t answer and/​or weren’t available except A-​Send Towing Service. Not only were they available, but they came in just half an hour after I called them! While it was a shame that I had to pay the towing fee to get my car moved two blocks to the mechanic shop, the guy let me drive with him and was extremely courteous and helpful. He gave me his number for future reference and wished me the best of luck. If you are ever in need of a towing service on a cold and rainy day in NW DC, this is the company to go with!
