I attended this event back in January. There was SO much wine available for the tasting: Horton, Keswick, and some wine from the Republic of Georgia come to mind. I had technical difficulties with tweeting(didn’t really understand the hashtag at that point) so my tweets never showed up on screen but anyway… …This was a fun event with tasty snacks(spinach phyllo, mini quiche, cheese and crackers, etc.). I’m a fan!

Last night event at WNDC was fabulous. I always love attending wine tasting event. So I was definitely a happy camper last night being surrounded by delicious selections of wine and by friendly chatter crowd. Last night was the first time I entered this fabulous club, beautiful place, and I can’t believe that all this time I have been pass through this place every Sunday on the way to my Church without noticing the place as definitely a fabulous place to be. And I promise my self to come back to to visit and explore the place next time. Although I have to leave soon to go to the next event, but I did have enough time to take advantage tasting some of decadent red wine. My first choice will be the wine from Georgia, with an interesting sexy name that I will get back to you on that. According to the friendly lady who represent her wine selections, this type of wine is good company with some spicy dishes, which has become my daily meal. I will definitely go on their website and order some bottles for me. And another favorite red wine I taste last night was from the Horton wineries, that decadent chocolate red wine that almost categorized as the port wine but not quite as sweet as port wine. Just enough. With the fragrance of chocolate scents that so temptingly delicious, it was just like calling me and saying to me this to me: taste me, drink me, you know you want me… you know how delicious I can be… As a chocoholic, I definitely can not resist that temptations, I gotta have it, for a second time. :) I also enjoy their Cabernet Franc, and their Pinotage, their version of Pinot Noir. I also get a chance to stop and taste red wine at the Monticello wineries table that happen to be neighbor with Horton wineries in Virginia, I enjoy their Cab Franc, not to sweet a bit dry, but I still like it. I also try some Argentinian red wine, that a little bit dry and bold. It is perfect for dining with red meat, with steak, fillet Mignon or something like that. I met a lot of interesting new people and having a great conversations with them as well as Unilocal Elite fellow members. I really enjoy the events, and thanks to Unilocal that has included me as the part of Unilocal Elite Member to attend this event! Cheers for a good wine!
