Skyhawk Limousine

We hired Skyhawk Limousine for my mother-in-law’s birthday. We wanted to take her on a wine tour of Virginia and we couldn’t have asked for a better company to provide the limo service. Our driver, Martin, was right on time. He was very professional and attentive. I thought we would have issues with the limo driving up some of the steep vineyards driveways, but Martin had no issues taking them on.
After getting settled in the vineyards, we realized we had forgotten a couple of things in the vehicle. We texted our driver and he was back within a couple of minutes. The interior of the limo was very clean and we had plenty of room. We’ll definitely use this company again for any limo needs!

I bought their livingsocial deal for $ 246 for three hours. Additional hours were quoted at $ 95 an hour. I sent them my itinerary for a brewery/​distillery tour around DC for my birthday — which is what was advertised for on the livingsocial deal. My itinerary was very specific and I asked for the extra time I needed. Looking at the confirmation they sent the first time they hadn’t scheduled for all the hours I had sent them in my intinerary, so I had them modify it. Looking at the second confirmation they still had missed one hour, but I figured that it would be fine as I have rented limos before and going over just required the extra payment for that hour. And they couldn’t seem to get it right anyway. It is also said «estimated» drop off time, so I figured this should be fine. The day comes and the driver arrived mostly on time and the limo was ok, except that it still had someone’s balled up receipt and bottle opener in the seat — ok, fine. It got bad after our first stop — he literally dropped us at our first location and only then, after picking us up did the driver tell us that the credit card I used for the limo payment didn’t work and that he wouldn’t be able to run another card — that we had to pay him in cash ($ 320 after the deal I already bought). Since I didn’t have my debit card, my sister actually got the cash out and gave it to him — he made us stop right away at a nearby ATM to get the cash before going further. No receipt. He specifically said to us that the drop off time would be 5pm, which is actually what I originally had wanted and said to them in the first place. My guests all knew the itinerary as well, so we said yeah that is fine. Perhaps he mis-​spoke, but all of us heard drop off at 5pm — and when 4pm came around he said we went over our time. Even at the last stop he said we would need to be back in time to have 45 minutes to get home — and we all understood and we’re back at 4:15 in order to get back home by 5pm. At that point we all argued with him and he acted like we were crazy in hearing him specifically say 5pm drop off. We ended up getting out of the limo then and taking an über back home. Communication is not their strong suit, and neither is their practice of waiting until the middle of your limo use to tell you that your original credit card payment didn’t work. If I’m going to pay more than $ 100 an hour (with tip and extra fuel charges on top of the fare) on what is supposed to be a deal, then I expect way more than this — next time I’ll just über around in an SUV for all my friends and save a bunch of money. Especially when their limos are starting to show their wear.

Excellent service, had a lovely driver called Bilal. He arrived 30mins early and was very friendly and attentive. Driving was smooth and stressfree. Would highly recommend this company. Will definitely do business with them again. Thank you very much

Don’t use this company! They were over 30 minutes late, then once they showed tried to blame me by saying they tried to call my cell phone. they called the wrong number and I showed them the email I sent them that had the correct cell number. After all that, the charged a wait fee, so if the have your credit card information, they can charge you whatever they want. They were rude on the phone and very difficult to deal with. Avoid Skyhawk at all costs.

Clean newer cars. They always have water. You can expect them to show 10 minutes prior to expected time.

We used Skyhawk Limousine to go from Washington D.C. to Cambridge, MD and a few days later, from Cambridge to Reagan Airport. and we couldn’t be any happier.
They arrived on time both times. They were extremely professional and the vehicle was brand new. The drivers were very courteous and patient despite having a bit of a rowdy group. The prices were also the best I found.

I could not have wished for a better limo transportation company!!! Skyhawk Limousine certainly lives up to its standards and I will be eternally grateful for the service they provided for us during many of the town event’s to include group shuttling on their mini buses to limo service to airport. We traveled with my elderly father-​in-​law and I didn’t want to mess with the taxi line — Skyhawk Limousine was a perfect solution. We booked trip from College Park, MD to Reagan National Airport (DCA) and as well in Las Vegas to our Hotel (both cities round-​trips). The company e-​mailed ahead of time to let me know the driver was dispatched, and the driver called to tell me he was waiting. We spotted him holding a sign with my name near the baggage claim. He helped collect our luggage and we walked outside, right to a beautiful clean shiny Escalade. The driver was friendly and easy-​going. We needed to change our pick-​up time to leave Las Vegas and he assured us he would let the office know — -sure enough, we got an e-​mail with the new info and the pick-​up went just as smoothly. I would definitely use this service again.

If I am going out of town I always use Skyhawk Limousine to and from airports, across the country. I have used them for the past 5 years or so for my personal limo service to airport as well as for work functions and have never been disappointed.
I like that there are bottles of water waiting in the car for me. I like that the drivers are well-​dressed, polite and professional. I like that you can request a non-​chatty driver (I can make small-​talk but after getting off a plane, I’d rather not — If you like chatting with your driver then more power to you!). I like that the cars are clean and sleek and modern and late model (including new the Cadillac XTS). I like that they email to confirm your pick up the day before. I like that they keep track of your flight so if you are landing early you don’t have to wait for them — they are waiting for you with my name sign in baggage claim area. Their chauffeurs always meet me inside the baggage claim area and assist me with my luggage.
I have no idea if they are the cheapest car service in town, but for the quality and performance, plus not needing to worry about my transportation at all, I am satisfied with the price. Gratuity is included in the base fare, but the nice thing about that is you don’t have to make sure you have some cash on you when you land or take off.
I have also used their charter bus services for both large and small groups and have never been disappointed. Regularly use their limo services for private winery tours as well as dinner and night out on the town.
I definitely recommend Skyhawk Limousine Limousines for your transportation needs.

We have used Skyhawk on a number of occasions. A couple times for special events and they were great. The drivers knew our itinerary and made extra efforts to really make the outings very special. Other times we needed airport pickup and dropoff, and they were always on time and very courteous.

I have used Skyhawk for a couple of years now and would not use anyone else. The drivers are all well educated, dressed nicely, and the cars clean and well appointed. They have always been on time and highly dependable. I have not one complaint.

I think Gabriel (one of the reviewers) called the wrong number. This service was absolutely perfect! I rented a party bus for my partners 40^th birthday party at the last minute during prom season. They did not have anything available, but told me they would call around to some of the other services… I did not expect a return call, but sure enough they did. They had found a limo for me with another service and shortly after one of their buses became available due to a cancelation which I promptly rented.
Bryan was the driver, he showed up right on time, called me as promised, helped me load up the bus and greeted all of my guest as we piled out of the restaurant and into the bus. Our trip to DC was a blast! Bryan dropped us off at our first stop, waited around the corner until we called and promptly picked us up for the next bar and so on.

I have never used a private hire car service for personal business. Because of our need to get home from the train station without delay, I chose to pre-​arrange a private car rather than risking the use of a taxi service. I just searched on Unilocal and went with first company, Skyhawk Limousine. The phone reservation process was quick and simple. The email confirmation was received without delay and contained all the information I needed to contact the driver following our arrival. The driver was waiting as we exited the station and we were home within the hour. The driver, Haroon, was exceptionally nice and professional. The car (or in this case the SUV) was comfortable, clean and new. We are very satisfied with this service and would highly recommend Skyhawk Limousine for future hire car needs

I know there have been negative reviews about them but to tell you the truth, Skyhawk Limousine was really great when we got their limo services. The driver and the car arrived on time just as they have told us on the phone and they even gave us affordable package for our night tour. The car that they gave to us was really great too and I can’t wait to use their service again for our next concert trip!

Our company was using taxi services for 2 years and because we just expected to deal with them we never really thought much about being happier with service. One day a colleague recommended Skyhawk Limousine and we’ve been using them for 2 years now. Every single time a client or associate comes to us, they cannot say enough nice things about the professionals driving them. Skyhawk demonstrates the utmost in professionalism and is a clear sign that chivalry isn’t dead. We do sometimes have some pretty finicky passengers we need Skyhawk to transport, and the fact that they come to us with a smile speaks volumes. Thanks to the whole crew at Skyhawk for providing piece of mind and a superior car service.

I travel a fair amount and most often use a car service vice a taxi to get from downtown DC where I live to the airport. I received a Groupon from my mother to try this company and it was an odd experience. I booked thinking the company might call to offer a new client a return trip as well and there was no follow up and I had to call them to confirm the booking, needless to say I only used them going one way. I was heading to vacation and had checked my email when I arrived noticing I was charged over $ 102 .00 for the one way to IAD (they take a CC to hold the spot.) Had to go back and forth with the company several time to get the bill sorted out and I think I was still overcharged, but they wore me out with going back and forth … There were added fees that were not clear. Would not use again, but the driver was nice enough and was on time.

Customer service is an important aspect of any Unilocal review and in this case it is the core of my issue with Skyhawk Limousine. I had been checking multiple car services to book for my 10 year wedding anniversary. I saw them listed on Unilocal and called them for their rates.
Attempt #1 — connected me to a gentlemen with a loose grasp of English who simply answered «Limo.» I explained that I was looking for package rates and he said he’d transfer me. After 5 minutes of auto-​loops between sections of their phone system it hung up on me.
Attempt #2 — I was put directly into their phone system without any human interaction. Auto-​loop hell and… disconnected again.
Attempt #3 — same as before.
How does a company expect to do business when they can’t even answer the phone? Don’t let the automated system’s female with an English accent fool you into thinking this place is sophisticated. I was sorely disappointed by their utter disregard for new business.

I have been using Skyhawk for 8years and they are totally reliable, fast, professional and competitively priced. They pick up your luggage at your doorstep, offer amenities, clean cars and well dressed pro drivers. I never have to worry about if they are going to show up because they are there 5−10m early. Rates are competitive to a cab so why slum it ;)
