Marco L.

Business Owner

Marco Lopez is a linguist, translator, interpreter and teacher with a postgraduate certificate in Teaching Spanish as a Foreign Language from Universidad Catolica in Lima, Peru. He has taught Spanish and lived in D.C. for over ten years.

Marco has experience teaching in a variety of settings, from basic group classes to advanced one-​on-​one lessons. Marco’s instruction has helped military personnel and civilian government officials pass Diplomatic Language Institute and Foreign Service Institute tests, as well as sharpened the skills of nonprofit employees and retirees. Having worked for Inlingua, Language Learning Enterprises, the International Language Institute, and Spanish Tutor D.C. prior to striking out on his own, Marco has encountered a variety of language learners, and knows how to meet their needs.
