Janet never called me back when she said she would. I always had to chase her down. Personally insulted me several times. There are plenty of other reputable staffing agencies in DC where you can find a job. This is the last place you want to look.

They were helpful and thorough throughout my interviewing process. I only have one other experience to compare it to, but I felt most prepared for my interviews for the position that I currently hold because of them.

Called me for a interview and scheduled one the next morning.
Called back at 5pm asking to reschedule and gave me no later date.
Ignored my follow up calls and emails.
Very unprofessional company.

I received a call from them saying they had a position they felt I may be good for, so I met with them and my first impression was that Heather was quite possibly one of the most unprofessional people I have seen doing HR. Her hair was a mess, she was wearing a baggy sweatshirt, and dirty pants with long, fake hot pink nails (and it wasn’t casual Friday). She described the position and I told her I had an offer for a full time position that I hadn’t accepted yet and she assured me it would be worth it to turn down the full time offer and take this chance. She claimed that the organization would do everything they could to find me a job either there or with one of their affiliates and that they were constantly busy so I would always have something to do.
I sat at my desk for 8 hours a day doing absolutely nothing except convincing myself not to run into oncoming traffic. They also did nothing about helping me find a position. So even though I BEGGED for work and spoke to her about a position after the temp one ended, they brushed me off.
One morning I had a horrible migraine. I got dressed anyway and headed to the metro but as soon as I got there I felt nauseous and went back to my car. I called Heather (this was at about 6:45 in the morning) and left a message saying I wouldn’t be able to get in that morning, explained why, and told her that I was sorry and would get in as soon as I felt better.
At about 9:10 that morning I received a call from Heather where she was literally yelling through the phone asking where I was. I replied that I had left her a voicemail. Her response: «Well did it ever occur to you that not everyone checks their voicemail?!» To which I replied that they had wasted my time with this position, I was getting NO benefit from it, and would not tolerate being spoken to like that.
My last paycheck? Didn’t come for 2 MONTHS despite my repeated emails and phone calls.
My advice: Don’t use them, they’re worthless.

The most unprofessional group of people I have ever worked with. Enough said. There are plenty of other good staffing agencies in DC. This is the last one you should be involved with.
