«Grande Joy Tea with extra Joy» That’s my usual order when I come to this Starbucks. I frequent here every Tuesday and Thursday night before my Barbell Club to get a lil caffeine in me before lifting. The staff is very friendly and very fast with orders. Although I come at a time where lines are almost non-existent. Whenever there is one, it cycles very fast. I would say ~20 secs per customer #WorldRecordSpeed TIP: If you want to have two tea bags in your drink, order a grande or venti. The tall only comes with one. The interior is very large with high ceilings. Something about high ceilings always makes a place more inviting and grand. There’s 3 entrances/exits and ample seating(even outdoor seating! for the spring/summer/fall of course). Perfect place to telework, however it can get pretty noisy. Bathrooms have a lock on them so you have to request them from the staff. WiFi is hosted by google and is pretty fast. I noticed some lag whenever there was a full house, but that is to be expected. Great Starbucks location! Also if you don’t like the vibe, there’s another chiller Starbucks 2 blocks down the street lol.

I go to this location on my way to work occasionally and I’m always impressed at how well they handle the morning rush! Friendly staff and consistent service!

Very disappointed in this Starbucks location. They were out of most of the posted flavors. Ended up ordering just a basic mocha. Basically watery chocolate milk with flavor of any kind. Get your act together. This is a great location, product should be equally great.

This is a neat little Starbucks tucked in a unique location. The end of the building forms a triangle which is glassed in with tall windows and a glass entryway. So sit in here and watch the world go by whilst you are sipping your tea or coffee. Located between Farragut Sq and Dupont Circle so there is always a good stream of people. The staff here is friendly and helpful. They carry the usual range of Starbucks products. The location is what seals the deal. It’s smaller than the Starbucks on the north side of Dupont Circle so it can fill up quickly.

Starbucks or Star*ucks? Why do you have to ruin the mid-afternoon coffee mood? I walk up to the register and order«Tall No Whip Salted Caramel Frappuccino». Seems like a standard and simple order at Starbucks(as compared to Triple Venti Skim No Whip 2 pump Mocha). I notice the cashier take out a red(hot drinks cup) and start marking out my drink. I remind her I have a requested a Frappuccino and she corrects her mistake and marks my drink on a cold cup. When my drink is called, it looks like a Iced Tall No Whip Salted Caramel Mocha and not the Frappuccino that I am waiting for. I point out the marking on the cup and remind her that it is a Frappuccino that I am waiting for and the barista grumbles that it was unclear on the cup — seemed clear to me tho :) She finally makes the Frappuccino, but having watched the process, I know that she has left out the Caramel. So, I remind her that there is no Caramel in my drink, to which her response is «I can put some Caramel if you like». After waiting for over 15 minutes for my drink, all I could say to her was«I don’t want you to put caramel in my Salted Caramel Mocha Frappuccino because I like it, I want you to put Caramel in my Salted Caramel Mocha Frappuccino because it should come with it!» Starbucks, if you are reading this, your green Siren is missing more than her Top recently!

I come here every morning, the staff is super cool, so friendly and attentive. Even though the line seems long they get make it go fast, and of course Starbucks coffee is always wonderful. I use the Order Ahead option on the Starbucks app, so I can order as I walk to work, and every morning my coffees are ready by the time I arrive(takes them 1 to 2 minutes).

One of the largest Starbucks around with tons of seating. Great for the itinerant freelancer! Also plenty of outside tables on N street. It gets pretty packed inside with lots of itinerant laptop workers, however. Staff super friendly. Place is clean. Thumbs up! Would remote work here anytime.

I don’t know what to say. How disappointed am I with this location. My coffee didn’t taste right at all. I order frappuchino and it taste only ice and syrup. It seem like they don’t know how to make it. All I want to complaints is only the skill of staff. But the service is good. Sorry for giving only 1 star but I really want you to improved your staff knowledge.

Perhaps I’m just a Midwest girl with a Midwest mentality but on a brisk Saturday morning I stopped at this Starbucks to grab a quick cup of joe after exploring DC(and my hosts were sleeping off a hangover) I was shocked that after waiting a few minutes for my coffee, I was given a card of some sort apologizing for my wait and an offer for a free drink next time. I don’t think I was even waiting that long! Thanks for caring so much about your customers!

By far the slowest Starbucks ever. Seems like every morning there is a line of 40 out the door. Four people on duty and one runner who is doing non-related support duties. This place is losing so much business.

This is my closest Starbucks. I am NOT a coffee drinker, but I run down here often for other drinks and snacks. The best thing about this branch? The staff. I’ve been working next door for 6 years, and I’m surprised how long I’ll see the same people working here. They’re all friendly, seem to like each other and their regulars, and know their stuff. They joke around, but do it while working hard. I’ve never had a drink made wrong. I’ve never watched someone stand around and not help. I’ve never seen a rude cashier or barista. There’s also the outdoor patio in the back, which has quite a few tables. The worst thing? The line gets very, very long. They do try to work through it quickly, but downtown you get a lot of people in ordering drinks for a whole group, and so it does take a while. I try to avoid it at rush hour, and stop by mid-morning instead.

I love my Starbucks just as much as the next person and I have been to my fair share around the city but this is by far the least pleasant. I walk in and the cashier does not make eye contact with me as I order and does not write down my order on the cup I guess thinking that the barista heard me order. I order a trenta iced green tea lemonade sweetened. The lady barista did not hear me apparently and neither did the cashier because I got an unsweetened tea and when I told the lady I asked for it sweetened she just said«I thought you said unsweetened» and squirted the syrup right on top.

I work in a nearby building and can say that the staff is great especially Lexus who is always cheerful, and asks how you are. A great way to start your day. If I could recommend anything it would be to promote individuals who exhibit real customer service day in and day out.

I know people like to say a Starbucks is a Starbucks, but I tend to disagree. Staff makes a huge difference and is a hit/miss at each location(I’ve been to more than I can remember. If you don’t like your job, quit). Luckily, the staff here was attentive, courteous, and most of all… made the perfect drink. Service was great. There was a small line but order was taken promptly and my drink was made quickly(so quick it caught me by surprise). Ordered a venti soy caramel macch and came out great. No complaints here, would definitely return any time I’m visiting DC!

Okay lets get real… Starbucks is every where! But there are some really great reasons why this one is in my top 5 coffee locations… yes the lines are long(but the staff works them through very quickly… most of the time…) so here you go. 1. The staff is freaking phenomenal! I was going to list them by name but did want to miss spell or leave anyone out. 2. They are yet to run out of anything that I have wanted or needed!!! 3. They always do their best to keep the place clean and well stocked 4. Outside patio!!! 5. Good seating! I could go on and on… but I will spare you all…

It’s a Starbucks just like any other but it’s really big. My colleague got a mocha here on my most recent visit and asked for it without whip. The barista who took his order also made it and insisted he had said with whip so that shows, to me, that they don’t pay much attention. I don’t think I’ve ever walked past this place or been in it when it hasn’t been jammed full of people(generally in the morning or just after work) but I think that’s every Starbucks in Washington, DC.
