This place is not the most pretty place and kinda smells on the inside but the food is amazing! They make authentic Mexican food for a really good price. Two people could share a combo for sure. They also offer lots of coupons.

This place is horrible. Placed an order at 11am and by 1:30 pm I still haven’t received my food. I live 10 minutes away from the restaurant. I called the restaurant to enquire about the order and before I could give the woman on the phone my address she cuts me off a says«three minutes». I tried to tell her to cancel my order and refund my money, seeing how I still haven’t received my food, and she tells me that she had to call the owner that wasn’t there. She then tells me that she was going to call the driver and tell them not to come and that she was going to only refund me $ 5.00. WHAT?!? I told her I want a full refund that she proceeds to tell me that the owner, who wasn’t there, said no refund. She makes up in her mind that I don’t need the food and proceeds to state she was going to tell the driver to not deliver the food then she hangs up on me. WOW. The delivery guy shows up at my place at 1:35. I told him to keep the food but he said he couldn’t do anything with it. He apologizes and then proceeds to tell me how screwed up the restaurant staff is. The food was luke warm and not good. Got the chicken burrito which was bland, so were the chicken tacos. The steak tacos were described to me as «mystery meat strips» The only pro you can find with this place is that the food is cheap. So if you’re dead broke and want a bad meal with horrible customer service then go head and visit this place.

My favorite Mexican! The burritos are amazing, and a great value. You get a burrito, chips and cheese dip for like 8 bucks. They fill the burritos generously and I like that guacamole is included without having to pay extra. I haven’t tried much else on the menu, but there are a lot of options.

We ordered the chicken flautas with rice and beans… so good! Delivery was relatively quick too. The chicken tacos are awesome as well!

Delicious tacos! If you’re looking for something quick and tasty with friendly service and authentic ingredients look no further than Super Taco. I had the Al Pastor, Gringo with Chicken and Chorizo tacos — all three were great in their own right, with the Al Pastor getting my nod as the best. Great little local spot worth checking out for a snack or quick meal!

Flautas were a little burnt, but tasty nonetheless. It’s a little every, but very convenient to my work, and they have Inca Cola, so it’s a win for me.

Very delicious authentic Mexican food! The food came out very quickly(less than 10 minutes) and everything was fresh. We got a couple burritos(which came with chips, salsa, and nacho cheese), a side of refried beans, and a fresh juice all for under $ 20. It was more than enough food for the both of us. You can’t beat the quality and value around here. The owner was also very friendly, and he recommended the cochinita burrito next time. We will definitely be back in the near future to try it out!

This place is GREAT! Has probably the most authentic and best tasting Mexican food in DC. For a filling meal and affordable price I definitely recommend Super Taco. The chicken burritos are amazing as well as the tacos I have had chicken and carne asada, both spectacular. Better for take out or delivery but there is available bar seating if you choose to dine in.

I cant believe the people giving this place 5 stars(they must work there), its rare that a restaurant manages to do a bad job on EVERY item I ordered but Super Tacos & Bakery managed just that. The steak taco was unbelievably dry, the orchata is so watered down that it tasted like water and cinnamon, the burrito is basically just rice wrapped in tortilla with no meat to speak of. But by far the worst was the flan, obviously made from a powder mix and dumped into a plastic container, no caramel at all. HORRIBLE, I couldn’t even have a spoonful of it.

Yum! Simple, no frills place, with very authentic tacos– I had the carne asada and was very pleased. The staff was very nice– particularly because while we were eating, a man who appeared to be homeless came in looking for help and they gave him a cold drink and offered him a sandwich.

This people Are assholes on the phone, every time I order tacos with maiz tortilla is like I don’t even call to let them know I need maiz tortillas. They have bad service over phone and food is not good at all, place is not clean and if you want to order online they only accept credit cards so expect your order to be missed up and not exactly what you wantbad business.

This place has the best Mexican food in the city. But, that isn’t really saying the food is that good, it’s more a statement on how bad the Mexican food everywhere else in the city is. I’ve only tried the tamales and the tacos, if you need Mexican food and don’t have the time to make it at home, this place will get you by. Tip: plan on waiting 15 – 20 minutes for your food

This place was more authentic than most taquerias in the DMV but definitely not the best I had in the area. The place is a hole in the wall(no problem with that), the staff is friendly and the food is cheap. However, the tacos meat is missing something. We got half a pound of al pastor and half of carne asada and tortillas and fixin’s. The tortillas were ok, and the sauces were fairly good as well. The meat, however, was a bit bland for my taste. The carne asada was not flavorful, and was a bit chewy. The pastor didn’t have any pineapple in it(what?). However, we all know that good tacos(the real good street tacos) are very hard to come by in DC. So comparatively speaking, this is a good place to get authentic tacos if you have a hankerin and are in the Adams Morgan area. However, if you’re a foodie like me, and you will walk on your knees over hot coals for the right tacos, I suggest Taco Tamba in Falls Church, Tortacos in Montgomery Village, Taqueria Habanero in Columbia Heights/Mt. Pleasant and even the gas station tacos at Taco Bar in Gaithersburg will hit the spot a bit better. They have some good desserts here, though. The flan is ok but the budin was really good(only missing some dulce de leche).

I passed this place many many times but never went in. Decided to try it one night, it is a hole in the wall kind of place. The lady who serves me was very friendly, the Tacos I have was great, very flavorful and not greasy(even with the pork one), I had Gringo chicken, Cochinita Pibil(Baked Seasoned Pork) and Carne Asada(beef), tacos. The soft shell tacos were nice and warm. My dinning buddies had the Carne Asada Encebollada(seasoned grilled steak, with sautéed onions, rice, beans, salad and tortillas). The beans tasted nice and the beef is slightly chewy for me, but none the less great taste. In the establishment there is a steel fridge, where you open the top on the right, you will see all the condiments, and the little tubs on the top where you can serve yourselves. The plastic knives and forks also. There are also plenty of desserts available even if you don’t worry about your waist line. This place is going to be my dedicated week day no cooking tacos joint.

Goodness, how come it took me this long to come to this place? I’ve lived within walking distance to this little taco joint for years and yet somehow managed to skip it until now. This is by-far the BEST tacos in DC for the price range. Keep in mind that the tacos here are $ 2.75. You’re not going to find a better bargain in DC, where most«Mexican style» tacos are around $ 3.00 or up. The meat was plentiful and very tasty. The toppings were your standard chopped onions, cilatro, jalapeño, and a wedge of lime. Honestly, this is the basic standard setup for most Mexican style tacos. Perhaps you can ask them to add some«quesos» in there but that’s really about it. I’ve had plenty of tacos in Mexico and really I don’t know what people are complaining about. You’re not going to find a better taco for $ 2.75 in DC. What I like about this place is the quick and friendly service. They take credit cards. And everything tasted fresh. All with an extremely reasonable price range to match. You can eat a great meal(3 tacos) with a drink for less than $ 10. I don’t know what people are complaining about. First of all, tacos are not meant to be eaten delivery style. By the time it gets to your house, the meat and the tortillas are cold. It’s meant to be eaten fresh right off of the grill. Second of all, of course you’ll find better tacos in other places but for $ 2.75, come on!!! What are you people complaining about?

I came here looking for authentic Mexican tacos(I’m from Texas). Coming with high expectations, I was disappointed. Although not truly authentic tacos, they were not bad. I also had the quesadilla and it was also okay. I would certainly eat here again but I wouldn’t go out of my way to do so.

Let me preface this by saying I ordered delivery; standard Styrofoam fare. I’m hesitant to give this place anything more than a three stars because while it’d be hard to beat a more authentic attempt at Mexican food for their prices, they food falls flatly on its face. By the end of the meal my belly was properly and happily stuffed, but with an instantly forgettable meal that its biggest shortcomings was its blandness and carelessness to detail. Still, its not a frequent place one can buy a pound of beef tongue and tlacoyos. Not that I would particularly encourage one to buy either the tlacoyo nor enchiladas. The chips felt at least a day old and was missing the zing that truly distinguishes the great from the mediocre. The enchiladas were dry and the meat hardly seasoned. Cheese was symbolic and the tortillas — corn at last! — felt manufactured. The tlacoyo was way too thick and the mass felt old. the beans were nonexistent and the sauce was spicy enough to drown out anything else. Am I fed at a fair price? Yes.(Delivery took a medium to longish time, but squarely within the bounds of acceptible) Am I going to revisit? Not likely unless I find myself in the neighborhood again and aching for a C+ halfway home between Mexican and Tex-Mex.(No real fault of the restaurant here, Mexican is truly difficult to master in DC, the trains why unbeknownst to me)

This is not the kind of place that catches your eye when you’re walking by. Actually, I stopped here for no reason other than my bike broke down right in front of it. And a good thing it did! The woman working there was friendly and humored me when I tried to practice my Spanish with her. Is it clean and fancy? Maybe not, but I think that adds to the charm. I ordered a taco al pastor which cost $ 2.75. I feel like that’s a little high for a taco, but I guess it’s pretty good for DC. About a minute after I paid, she handed me a small but very full pouch of deliciousness wrapped in a couple of tortillas. Yum! The meat was juicy and it was full of tasty veggies. I wolfed it down in about as much time as it took to make, then told her I’ll be back tomorrow. There’s a McDonald’s on the corner, and I can’t imagine why anyone would go there when you could get one of these tacos for the same price.

LOVE how friendly they are here. Recommended: + Cochinita pibil tacos + Enchiladas + any of the tortas + any of the desserts(I’m partial to the flan) Heads up: — Carne Asada tends to be extra salty — They go crazy on the raw onions, so let them know you don’t want

As long as we’re going around redefining words in this society like«liberal» and«libertarian,» why not just redefine«super» like this place did. If this is what a «super» taco tastes like, I’m thinking the word has become positively meaningless in this country. While this is one of the few real Mexican cafes around in a sea of Salvadoran restaurants, the authenticity factor didn’t win me over. Their veggie taco contains some of the most disgusting fajita filling I’ve ever had. The onions and peppers were literally slippery. It did have the authentic cilantro on it but I could barely taste this or the white cheese. I didn’t even want to touch the parts that fell on my plate when the taco’s shell disintegrated. Similarly, the refried beans tasted more fried than refried and the rice was burnt. And it was all covered with the same tasteless cheese that looked like white wood chippings as the taco. And it somehow took a long time to make this mess that cost over $ 3.00 a taco. For a taco barely worth $ 1.00. They have an impressive salsa bar for flavoring(which I’m learning is a bad sign at any restaurant) but even this didn’t really make the taco edible. Sadly, only if you add the word«mediocre» between«super» and«tacos» is the name of this place even slightly true.
