I can only comment on my experience last week, so here goes. Following my consultation payment, the client services representative (CSR) scheduled me for a consultation with Mr. Oswald. I was pleased with the scheduling due to reviews I previously read about Mr. Oswald, and I also scheduled other appts around the consultation due to my tight schedule. Less than 48 hours before my consultation, I was emailed that my consultation time was changed, as well as the individual that I was having the consultation with. Though they did not explain why I was bumped, the CSR volunteered to possibly bump another client (difference of only 45 minutes which didn’t help with my schedule) and I declined. My consultation was switched to Mr. Carter. I was very disappointed with the switch because it threw off my schedule that day, in addition to the negative reviews I read about Mr. Carter. I was hesitant to do the consultation with Mr. Carter and inquired about Mr. Oswald’s availability the following week, but the CSR indicated that the only one available the following week would be Mr. Carter as well. After switching some things on my schedule around, I just took the consultation with Mr. Carter.
The consultation with my Mr. Carter was consistent with the negative reviews I had previously read about him. In the consultation with Mr. Carter continued to increase the quote for the cost of my case. In the beginning of the consultation he indicated that it would cost me up to $ 25,000, but by the end of that 29 minutes he was up to $ 55,000/$ 65,000. The crazy thing is that I did not get the impression (based upon his comments) that he fully reviewed the case information forwarded to the CSR. With Mr. Carter there also appeared to be a great deal of arrogance (like a star NBA player) that I did not understand.
Mr. Carter advised that I would receive a letter following the consultation, which I have yet to receive.
If asked, I would not recommend TELG.

All I can remember from the conversation I had with the Principal of the firm, Adam Carter is that his fee is $ 495 and that I can not afford him. He said he doesn’t want me to have to borrow $ from my parents to pay him. (I’m sorry, what?) Also, he assumes a lot, basing facts I give him and using instincts to make his decisions. After I spent an hour writing out the summary & facts for him, I felt like he didn’t believe my side of the story and pretty much called me a liar. Then he blamed the American Justice System just so I wouldn’t get offended. How hard can it be to find a good lawyer nowadays? It was ridiculous that he compared my salary to the one of McDonald’s worker. I felt very uncomfortable listening to his examples. Overall didn’t tell me to do anything I didn’t already know I needed to do and so pretty much, it comes down that the only way for him to take a discriminatory case is if you make 100k a year and you get raped or physically abused. Lol. Great advice! Thanks a lot for your 29 min consultation.

I was a federal government employee and needed some help with negotiations. After I had my second child, I wanted to leave my full-​time employment and transition into consulting, but was unsure how to do so. The Employment Law Group gave me great advice. I contacted the employment law group when I was 8 months pregnant after my supervisor told me that I would be laid off when I returned from maternity leave. It was terrifying, and it was wrong. I was advised to document every conversation, which I did, and sent the entire timeline of events to HR, copying Mr. Woodfield from the employment law group. My employer immediately changed their position and began supporting my claim of discriminatory treatment from my supervisor. Mr. Woodfield not only helped me understand my rights, he gave me the confidence I needed to defend myself against a massive, global corporation. With his guidance, my supervisor was reprimanded and my position was secured. They knew they were walking on a mine field and weren’t going to mess with me once I had the employment law group on my side. My cousin needed help in a hurry after he married a woman in Panama while he was working there. He came back to the US, and his employer wouldn’t do anything to help with his wife’s immigration issues. They got on it in a flash and manged to get her into the US. Plus they advised my cousin on the issues with my cousin’s security clearance, which was impacted by his marriage overseas to a foreign national.
Everything was done properly the first time round. It wasn’t cheap, but you get what you pay for in life.

I contacted them because I may get fired from my job when I return after being out on short term disability caused by my employer. I received a call back the same day. The assistant listened to my issues, then told me it was something they handled. Said she would send me an email detailing what was needed. I was to first document everything, then attach it to the email, along with payment of $ 295. She said I would then be contacted by an attorney and given a 30 minute phone consultation. That was a week ago and I haven’t received anything at all. If she didn’t think they were interested in my case, she could have told me on the phone instead of blowing me off. I spent several hours documenting everything for nothing. Also, when you first try to contact them, a pop-​up chat box opens every time you click on anything. It happened so often while I browsed their site that I finally relented to chat. I gave the short version of my story and was repeatedly told to contact the law group. Not sure what the chat box is for since it was useless as well.

So far all I know if the fee has gone up to $ 295

Scott Oswald is a true professional; clearly tops in his field. He knows the law. You want this man in your corner when the chips are down, or even to review a basic employment contract. He is up front and honest with his client from Day One. I highly recommend his services without reservation.

I had contacted them in attempt to save my job. I got a call back right on the same day. They say there is no problem that they are in DC. Only problem was since they are located in a different state, their likelihood of taking my case was low and didn’t want to pay a $ 190 for half an hour of consultation fees.
