I’ve always seen the sign for this place, but never really paid it any attention until they posted an event for Paczki Day. While I could not attend the full event, I did stop by to pick-​up some paczki, which I don’t see much in this area. My mother is Polish, and I grew up near a small Polish community.
The foundation supports Polish students and artists, and had many paintings and books by Polish/​Polish-​Americans on display, as well as famed Polish ceramics. I saw a plaque for a museum, which I’m guessing is on the upper floors, and I’d like to check it out someday. I did not get to speak much with the woman running it, but she was very friendly and extremely knowledgeable.
