We are a shoe shine and shoe care business. We are not a shoe repair company. We also provide shoe shine services for corporate events, trade shows, promotions and parties. We have mobile shoe shine stands for any style event.

History

Established in 1970.

Union Station Shoe Shine was established in the 1970’s by the late Paris Thompson. Paris pioneered the heated spit shine method with hand held hairdryers. The heated process helps to speed up the spit shines to accommodate the busy, fast paced Amtrak customers. We are considered by many as the best shoe shine stand in the world.

Recently featured on PBS and in Men’s Flair magazine, the Union Station Shoe Shine is a true DC tradition. Our clients have included Vice President Joe Biden, comedian Steve Harvey, NFL commentator James Brown and TV star Tim Reid just to name a few.
