This place looks amazing for a vapor store! They have a ton of flavors and great customer service. I don’t know about you, but I rather be in a bright, clean, modern place –compared to a dingy, dark, creepy place. I’m sure everyone has their own opinions, but I like the experience, and the prices are affordable. Most of my friends come here and are happy with their products. Not all products are the same by any means. I found using VaporFi has a strong level of power. Compared to other vapor productions– it beats anything else I’ve used. The batteries last forever, the quality of the USA-​made e-​liquids are amazing, honestly I’m impressed with the custom-​blend flavors. The staff is very friendly and I pay for quality.

Great store. The guy was extremely helpful. Let me try out a few different flavor a till I found what I liked, also was able to explain all the different functions of my new evapor.

I was first introduced to VaporFi in Miami last year and have been a customer ever since. Today 6/​28, I went to the store in Georgetown to get a refill. Needless to say, I should have just ordered online.
I get to the store at 11:17 and the door appears to be locked although the the store opens at 11. I see a guy come over and open the door for me. He mentioned something about the door not working *blank stare*. After wandering around a little bit, and the cashier looking very harried, I asked if I should come back. He advised that there was an issue with the Internet and asked me to come back in like a half an hour. Correct… asked the customer to come back in a half hour.
Since I was already in Georgetown I decided to wait around. I finally get back around 11:45 — 11:50 and I’m met with more excuses. There’s no internet, Comcast won’t be coming by until 3, they don’t take cash. So I proceeded with my order and the cashier was obviously very new. He had a hard time understanding my order (2 15 ML juices, 1 no nicotine, one ultra light). He looked very nervous and scared. He asked me to write out my credit card information on receipt paper, and then provided me with a hand written receipt. I also asked for some clear tanks and he looked confused. He started to try and unlock the cabinets but never found the right key. I just decided to grab my stuff and go.
I understand things that things can happen but this was just folly. I actually asked the cashier if he wanted to see my ID and credit card to make sure that I was who I said I was. He was like… no that’s cool. Don’t worry though… I’ve already contacted my bank to alert them of the charges since they will have to be manually entered. This is not a way to operate a business. I’m sure you must have contingencies in place for stuff like this.
I do like VaporFi and was happy that they opened a store in DC. However, it’s unlikely that I will return. Today’s experience was not what I was used to in terms of the usual VaporFi experience.

Let me start by saying I love the VaporFi product as I bought a Rebel II online for my roommate to quit smoking as a Christmas gift. In January this Georgetown shop opened and was very convenient to try new flavors (something impossible to achieve w/​online shopping).
My only complaint has to do with a sub-​component of the Rebel II — the battery/​charger. We’ve now had two batteries that would not charge (of which we found from the local store only have a 90 day warranty). So yesterday before my cross country road trip I purchased a $ 20 2500mah Lithium Ion replacement battery, got it back to the house and it would not charge either. I plan to mail it back to the Georgetown store as I am moving cross country. Its sad when a sub-component’s quality can bring down the overall satisfaction of the brand. We’ve only purchased and used the VaporFi brand of products so I plan to write the same review to their corporate office as the local store has helped us as much as possible.
BACK TO THE STORE
The customer service is spot on, they do a great job of showing you the available product as well as helping to understand new flavor combinations. They are quick and friendly with service and we love the modern «apple store» bright look of the facility. We recommend they might sponsor some social events as we have several friends who loved our 2 rebel II’s at parties. Thanks Georgetown staff, its sad they will not have stores in California so I will have to go back to ordering online vice the Georgetown experience.

Upon further review I found the dripping juice pretty good. And a month after they opened they seem pretty legit.

I have to admit, I’m new to the Vape scene. I stopped into Vaporfi in Gtown to investigate an electronic cigarette gift for my mom who smokes. I’d love for her to quit smoking and after doing some reading and talking with the owner here, Vaporfi looks like a great option. Beforehand I was reading about vapor cigarettes online, I was worried about the true health benefits, the toxicology, and levels of carcinogens in vapor cigarettes. The guy behind the counter helped educate me on their superior product or «juice» compared to the cheaper alternative. I’d gladly pay a couple extra bucks to ensure it’s healthy. I read how there are alot of cheap and unhealthy vapor products out there.
The store itself is pretty slick too, which is what attracted me to walk in. It looks like people (Gtown students) hang out here like it’s happy hour. It was pretty hilarious watching the kids see who could create the biggest «cloud».

Bad reviews are exaggerations.
I was in town visiting my father and Vaporfi was only a few minute walk, so I decided to stop in when I was running low on e-​juice.
The aesthetics are fantastic. Very clean and welcoming. I had Donovan assisting me at the counter. He was friendly and helpful. I was initially shocked that the store didn’t carry a version of RY-​4 e-​juice, since every vape store I had been to does. It made me hesitant, but he was able to recreate it with their 3 flavor shots of tobacco, vanilla, and caramel (dulce de leche). What a cool system! So all was well in the end.
Their prices are competitive and honesty not overpriced. I usually pay $ 13.99 for 30ml e-​juice, and Vaporfi was $ 15.99. Two whole dollars is not that bad in the scheme of things! I browsed their displays and they carry all necessary equipment (tanks, batteries, accessories, starter kits, vaporizers, etc). The prices for those were comparable to most vape stores, that are of equally good quality.
If you’re in town, I suggest stopping in! Will definitely be back when I visit again.

I had been buying from Vaporfi for about a year now online so I was stoked to see that something closer to home had opened. Started with the Potomac Mills store and have now been to the Georgetown location on a couple of occasions. Every time I’ve walked in to either store (large kiosk at Potomac Mills), they have been clean and the staff there has been extremely helpful, courteous and patient as I tried out numerous flavor combinations to try and find the one (s) that I liked best. I’m not what you would consider an «experienced» vaper by any means but it’s extremely convenient and nice to have a brick and mortar store that you can walk in to and speak to a live person as well as try out all the flavors that they have so that you know what you’re going to walk away with. Tim the manager, whom I’ve seen at both locations has always been very helpful and it’s obvious that he takes customer service very seriously. They also have this «reward» program like a lot of stores have where you can earn points through your purchases which is a nice bonus if you shop with them often.
All in all, from their online services and call-​in customer service to my store experiences, I’ve been extremely pleased with Vaporfi and am glad that I have someplace local that I can go to grab replacements or juice and know what I’m getting.
I’ll definitely be back and am looking forward to their new locations opening soon!

I’ve been a smoker for 15+ years. Vaporfi set me up with a starter kit which helped me tremendously. I haven’t had a cigarette in a week and it feels great! The staff is friendly and informative. The ambience is second to none. They had so many juices and blends to choose from, I felt like a kid in a candy store. I am glad I discovered this place by chance. This place definitely got it right.

My rating is for experienced vapers.
This is obviously a shop that is designed to take advantage of people who know absolutely nothing about the hobby. Their prices are very, very steep. They sell only their own brand of juice and hardware, much of which is just rebranded KangerTech products.
The juice is only available in 70pg/​30vg which is useless if you are dripping or using the new sub ohm tanks available on the market.
The store is visually appealing, but that doesn’t come close to making up for the shortfalls in the most important areas.
If you’re new to vaping this may be a good place to buy your first setup and juice, but beyond that this place is useless. It’s sad that there are only a few vape shops in DC and this is one of them. Do yourself a favor and head to the shop in AdMo…

Great experience. It’s a very nice looking place, unlike some of the other sort of… grimey vape shops. The location in Georgetown is awesome too. Much more convenient for me than AdMo. The customer service from Trey was also excellent. They’ve only been open for a week or two I think, but you wouldn’t be able to tell based on his performance. He was very knowledgeable when it came to the products. They have a ton of juice flavors; something like 50. They’ll also mix flavors so you can create your own and they do free flavor tasting there. There were a couple people trying flavors during my visit. All in all, I’ll be back!

I’ve been vaping for two years and, having used many different vaping devices and juices, visited more than a handful of vape shops. Vaporfi ranks as the lowest of all shops I’ve encountered for several reasons. For this reason, I adamantly recommend visiting another retail location or purchasing your products online. I live a 5-​minute walk from here but will instead continue to visit the retail shop in Adam’s Morgan (a 15 minute drive) for my vaping needs.
Vaporfi’s mediocrity hits you immediately upon entering the store. As a franchise, it’s clear that the brand strategy is to provide the consumer with an experience similar to the Apple store tailored to new, rather than experienced, vape users: products in glass cases, muted silver and white colors, sleek advertising, and so on. While casual or beginning vape users may find the product display appealing, vape enthusiasts will be turned off. The sterility is both palpable and suffocating. Vaporfi lacks that homegrown vibe that mom-​and-​pop vape shops have. Vaporfi feels like a clothing shop, or worse, a Staples.
Second, and perhaps more importantly, is Vaporfi’s dedication to selling only its brand. At this vape shop, you will only find products packaged and sold under the Vaporfi franchise tag. This of course reduces choice, something vape users highly value. Want to buy a new battery? It’s going to have Vaporfi’s logo slapped on it. How about new atomizers? It’s going to come in Vaporfi packaging. The same is true for all products, from tanks to juice. No customization here, folks.
Another dealbreaker is the juice selection. True, they have perhaps more than 50 juice flavors, but they are all the same blend: 70pg/​30vg. As someone with an allergy to pg, I like to have the option of a juice with a high vg blend. Not available at Vaporfi. And I must say, after sampling many of their flavors, I was less than impressed. You can find many tastier juice options at other vape shops, or online. And because they only use the same pg/​vg mix, the mouth feel, throat hit, etc., is not going to differ from flavor to flavor.
Another consideration is pricing. Prices here are not competitive. Experienced vape users know that products will always be cheaper online and will, as a result, expect markups in retail shops. We accept the markups because of convenience. But the markups at Vaporfi are steep. 5 atomizers for $ 15. Juice for $ 15. No thanks.
Lastly, I must mention service. While the employees are nice, they are slow. In purchasing just two products, checkout took approximately ten minutes. Compared to other competitors, this is less than desirable.
To conclude, I do not recommend Vaporfi and recommend purchasing your products online or at another retailer.
