Meet the Business Owner

Luca G.

Business Owner

Founders: Luca Giovannini,

Started his first successful events company in his hometown Italy, but his love for hospitality took him around Europe in places like Scotland, Spain (including Ibiza and Barcelona) and then came to the United States to apply his skills.

Has been head bartender in hotels like Park Hyatt and Jefferson Hotel.

After that Giovannini co-​founded Veneráte Group LLC to venerate America’s cocktail culture and to bring his experience to the American market.

Luca has been on TV twice as guest at «Let’s Talk Live» on ABC presenting new cocktails.

Charles Tappan:

After years of a profession in Capital Markets, Charles discovered bartending while looking for the fountain of youth. Tending bar, eventually becoming Lead Bartender at Park Hyatt in DC, led to a discovery and passion for the rich American history of craft cocktails.

Eventually, finding the corporate world of hotels too restricting, Charles decided to partner with Luca Giovannini to co-​found Veneràte
