y employer uses them, but I will never use them again. I’ve also made sure to warn my coworkers, who agree with me that they would rather go in person than rely on these people. It took me almost three weeks to get my passport back with a visa. When I called the day before my trip whoever answered the phone was extremely rude and condescending. He said ‘do you want your passport back without a visa? if so, I can give it back to you this morning”. We paid for a service and I also paid for a type of visa that I did not receive.

Fast and hassle free service! I have dealt with embassies before while obtaining my business visas and understand how much they give you the runaround, never respond and issue visas on their own time.
I used Visa Obtainers to expedite and ease this process for me and they definitely did. I was provided with the paperwork I needed to submit to them by their website and they did the rest. I received my passport with all visas on time for me to travel.

Don’t expect anything but the barest minimum of service.
I had a fairly complicated itinerary for two which required three visas from different African countries.
E-​mails requesting updates went unanswered — phone calls with Mike left the impression that I was intruding on his time. Direct questions about the process were never answered. When I asked for advice I was flat out told that it was not his job to give advice. I’m not sure what service I received for my 600 bucks other than my paperwork getting a walk.
In the end I did get the visas needed in time — but the aggravation of wondering what was going on for a month was definitely not worth the high fee. I have received much better service from other visa expediters for much less.
I used this outfit because of a referral — I will not use them again.
Oh and the receipt they provided has a single line item for the three visa lumped into one — even after I requested an itemized receipt — try submitting this for reimbursement from four clients. I’m not holding my breath for the requested paperwork I’m sure since they’ve been paid I will never get a response from them again.

The way this typically works is that you call Visa Obtainers, tell them what visa you need and by when, they explain what forms, etc. you need to compile, you compile the forms, they come pick them up and eventually bring you back your visa, and you pay them.
I travel a lot for work, and my company has an account with Visa Obtainers. Therefore, Mike from Visa Obtainers has obtained several visas for me over the years. As a colleague put it, when you call him, you always get the vague impression that you’re talking with someone who’s sitting on his couch in a basement apartment. He is not terribly communicative, you have to pry information out of him, and the visa sometimes comes later than scheduled with no explanation — although in the past, it always came before I needed to catch my flight.
Not this time. Most recently, I needed a Chinese visa. They are notoriously difficult to obtain, and colleagues had advised me to begin the process a month in advance. Because I was traveling in another country for most of December, I couldn’t send my passport in for the visa a full month in advance. When I came back to the states, I didn’t go straight to DC, I went to the west coast. As soon as I got there, around December 20, I called Mike and explained I would need a Chinese visa by Friday January 8^th for a Sunday Jan 10^th departure. I offered to FedEx him all my materials so he could start the process right then, since I wouldn’t be returning to DC until January 5. He told me not to worry, Jan 5 would leave plenty of time. Me: «Are you sure? I know some of my colleagues have had problems with this.» Him: «Don’t worry, don’t worry.» So I called him when I got back on Jan 5 to have him come pick up my materials, which he did. I then got a phone call from him around noon on January 8^th, explaining that my visa had been rejected because I hadn’t included something called a «visa notification letter.» This letter is not on the list of things that Visa Obtainers tells you that you need, and Mike couldn’t explain to me what it was or where to get one. He became defensive when I asked, and told me that it wasn’t his job to know what it was, it was my job, and I should know, and he was just a courrier who drove things back and forth to and from the embassy.
After prying further, I learned that Mike had found out on Thursday the 7^th that I would need this letter, but he hadn’t bothered to call me then because «it was getting kind of late.» (Note: It couldn’t have been THAT late — as I learned later, the China visa office closes at 3:00 p.m. So basically, Mike couldn’t be bothered to stay at work until 3:05 to give me a call?) (Note 2: If he HAD called me on Thursday afternoon, I would have been able to get the letter during the Friday business day in China, and would have been able to leave as scheduled. Because he didn’t call until Friday, I had to wait until Monday to get the letter, Tuesday to get the visa, so ended up postponing my trip 3 days, which cost over $ 1,000 in airfare plus lost time.)
In summary, Mike does not really act like someone who wants your business. Don’t give it to him.
