Still here and still love this shop. I actually counted my time wrong. I’ve been a costumer of Yvette’s for at least twenty years. Great beauticians, gospel music in the morning, calm atmosphere and pampering.

I’ve been coming to this salon for 8 months now and every time I go there, my hair is perfect. I have natural hair and they always work with me. Especially when I have last minute emergencies… like today lol. The atmosphere is welcoming and I would recommend this place to anyone!

They took me in as a last minute walk-​in and worked for over 4 hours on my hair to repair it from shreds. You are made to feel comfortable in their family feeling atmosphere. I would recommend this place to my friends and go back for a future appointment.

I ran a half marathon with my hair in a bun and it started raining toward the end. Combined with the bobbing of my steps, salt from sweat, and rain my hair was a tangled mess at the end. My bun wouldn’t even move it was such a large knot! My usual stylist was on vacation, and the first salon I went to told me my precious (and expensive!) hair extensions would definitely need to be cut out. Not going down without a fight, I went to Yvette and sure enough she and a team of two other stylists combed, oiled, and got the knot out in 25 good minutes SAVING my hair. The charge was $ 25 – I paid $ 100 I was so grateful. THANK YOU YVETTE!

Yvette’s was ALWAYS my fav salon! I haven’t been here in over 5 years (only because I now hate waiting in salons). I started coming here when I was 10 years old and I am now 25 (time sure does fly). My stylist was Mecca. She had those magical hands because she used to work wonders on my scalp. She trained my hair and got it back growing for me. Ms. Yvette was always so polite and I loved being at the shop. although I hated the long hours I was there. Even with my 5 year hiatus, I would still recommend this shop to EVERYONE! You’ll love your hair when you leave!

So I use to go here as a teen all the time in high school until I got to college and started going through weaves. Which was a horrible mistake, Now I go here to get my services done by Ms. Rita. She is one of the eldest stylist in the shop and she knows what you want with out her having to ask twice. She is very careful and gets you in and out.
