Appreciated the really good service and a delicious pizza to go! We ordered the American pizza and were allowed to switch out a couple of the toppings for others. The guy who helped us was very customer service oriented. The best part was how quick the pizza was done… We couldn’t even believe it!

Quite mediocre. Overpriced for the quality. Wouldn’t order again. Ordered two different pizzas for delivery, plus a salad. The salad was pleasantly fresh, but $ 8 seems a lot for the size and the small amount of toppings. The small pizzas were around $ 11 each. They seemed excessively small for the price and, worse, were very bland and also had a minimal amount of toppings. I’ve had better frozen pizza. Delivery also took a very long time — about an hour & a half. I ordered from here because I was eager to find a delivery alternative to Domino’s, but given that the price is much higher and the quality isn’t better(in fact, I prefer Domino’s), I wouldn’t order again. On the plus side, the employees(both on the phone and the delivery person) were very nice.

My friends and I have ordered from this place twice(dine in and take out) during our trip to DC a few months back. Food was always on point and service excellent.

We were here for lunch and I ordered a Hawaiian pizza. It took a little longer than the sandwiches(for which I was warned), but it was soooo good! I’m not a big pizza person but I finished the whole thing.

Me and my boyfriend wanted a cheap and easy dinner. This was the only pizza place that we felt had good prices for what we wanted. This place is great and not as exspensive as other pizza places in DC. We got a ham pizza and it was really good. The only thing I would change would be the quality of their cheese cause I felt like it was the cheapest kind to use. Other than that the place is good and is in a convenient location

Shared a salad and pizza(thai chicken) at zpizza. Figured the place would be awful since we’d never really heard of it, so we were definitely pleased to find a good salad AND a good pizza. They weren’t incredible or anything, but the meal definitely represented satisfying counter service in Chinatown. I’ll be curious to go back and try other kinds of pizzas. The place was empty aside from us! We were not there at a weird time. Very odd.

My daughter and I stopped here for lunch before getting on the metro. Great pizza! Not a lot of sauce, great cheese, crunchy crust, sold by the slice and larger. Clean restaurant and good staff!

I am recent vegan and so damn hungry all the time. Had read somewhere about a vegan pizza @zpizza. It is the Berkeley Vegan: All gooey with the fake cheese, meaty crumbles, marinara sauce, peppers, mushrooms, zucchini, tomatoes and crusty crust. It was wonderful and hit the spot. The employees are quick, constantly cleaning and friendly. I went twice in one day. So long size 27 jeans…

Chewy, bland, no taste, no sauce. It’s pizza guys, not rocket surgery. I don’t see how people can screw this up. And I’m buzzed too!

One of the best gluten-free crusts ever. Great amount of toppings. Not the best atmosphere, kinda feels like a fast food restaurant not a pizza place. Salad was good and it was reasonably priced. It may be a better option to have it delivered.

This location has one of the sweetest managers I’ve come across in any businesses. My first time coming to Zpizza, I ordered only a side salad through Eater24/Paypal to go. Due to some miscommunication, an entrée sized Caesar salad was made. Instead of making me wait for my actual order, the manager was extremely apologetic and gave me the option to take the Caesar salad with no additional charge. My husband joined me today for their new menu sampling event. We were literally the only two people to attend the event. The same manager I encountered at my previous visit was there to greet us. We were expecting sample pieces. But instead we were treated full slices of all 5 types — Salami with tomato, sausage with squash and zucchini, garlic chicken, gluten free pear with Gorgonzola, and gluten free cheese. To be honest, the pizzas were just okay — all a bit undercooked and lacking in flavor. I found the sausage and chicken to be way salty and the tomato sauce on the cheese pizza to be overpoweringly sweet. The pear with Gorgonzola was my personal fav — but I would happily eat their pear, Gorgonzola, and candied walnut salad(we also had this over their intended avocado salad listed on the sampling menu — they ran out of ingredients) over the pizza version any day. With &pizza just a few blocks down the street, it was obvious why this zpizza is struggling. This place should consider a professional cleaning, a paint job, and new staffs(the poor manager was working all by himself while I watched a handful of workers rolling in at random time after the event had already started) if it wants to stay open. 5 stars for the manager, 1 star for everything else.

I was hoping for a little more. I usually go to the zpizza in Woodbridge, VA and have always been satisfied. Unfortunately, when I visited this location last week for a take out order, I was very disappointed. Was it the cashier too busy playing on his phone or was it the rubbery cheese, crust, and toppings? Whatever it was, I don’t plan on ordering from this location again!

The pizza/salad lunch combo was quick and affordable at $ 7. The pizza was barely luke warm but still tasted good. The salad was simple but good.

Well, I ate my words today. I was outvoted by the office for lunch and tried delivery again for lunch. Everything was great and I really do love their gluten free crust. We didn’t have problems in the past with lunchtime so I think that’s the only time of day I’ll order from here on out.

I ordered from this place twice. Both times it took over an hour(I live exactly 1 mile away). Second time I ordered(and the last), they used a second party courier service; guy shows up at my door over an hour late with cold pizza and charges me $ 8 extra for delivery. This place is terrible, not worth the hassle.

When I was in San Francisco two years ago I had one of the best pizzas in my life at zPizza so when we came to D.C. Two weekends ago, I was thrilled to find a zPizza right near Gallery Place and Chinatown. We stopped there for a quick bite before going to catch a movie at the Regal Cinema at Gallery Place. This was unfortunately nothing like the zPizza in CA. In fact I would put it on the list of the worst pizzas I have ever had. The cheese was rubbery and slimy, the grilled chicken was processed packaged rubber stuff and the veggies which we’re the only decent part of the pizza were raw and undercooked. It was an hour of my life and 1,000 calories wasted!

Good overall pizza! We had a Napoli and a Berkeley Vegan. The BV could have used more sauce but when I asked for a cup for marinara, they were very accommodating. The Napoli was super cheesy!

Pretty good santa fe pizza. Really full of flavor and lots of fresh veggies added. Good experience.(Original posting 2013) Update 6÷2÷15 What I like: 1. Fresh baked mega chocolate chip cookies 2. Thai chicken pizza is delicious. It’s spicy and full of the perfect Thai flavor. What I don’t like: 1. The chicken wings 2. Tuna sandwich was a bit fishy for my own taste but my husband liked it They also deliver and you can order thru eat24 The service is decent and they deliver the food on time They have gluten free and vegan options too so lots of choices. We plan on returning for sure.

I died and went to vegan pizza heaven. It was a nice treat from the usual cheeseless pizza. This food is legit. A friend and I both ordered small Berkley Vegan pizzas from their zpizza Creations menu and it was the right choice. The only thing I could say some what negative about the experience was that the crumbles aren’t a ground beef style crumble as advertised, it is more of an Italian sausage. However, delicious! The Daiya is plentiful and melted perfectly(I’ve had nightmarish vegan pizza cheese experiences but they do right by Daiya), veggies are fresh and crisp, dough is really nice. I need more of this pizza. Seriously. Can you bring me some?
