This is the best pizza in the Area. The dough is actually crispy. I’m very Happy with there service

My husband and I get takeout from here weekly. It’s reasonably priced and we love the food. The pizza is the best in our area by far. Dom and Anna make us feel like family! I absolutely love their chicken and broccoli rabe wrap, salads, calamari, and pasta dishes. The pasta fagioli soup is great too! If I’m having family visiting and I don’t feel like cooking, I can count on Ernie and Doms to have fabulous down home Italian cooking that my whole family loves.

This place is going downhill faster than Lindsey Vonn. The food quality is very mediocre, and the prices keep going up for no apparent reason. In house dining has become dismal with inexperienced young girls with an attitude. And take out is even worse with super high prices and so-so food. Dom needs to learn that this is not Beverly Hills. PLEASE serve good food again — and at a price that makes sense! And for God’s sake, PLEASE accept American Express!

Great place to dine-in, take out or delivery Ernie and Dom are great people. Pizza is great been living in town for a year and is my family’s first decision when ordering Italian.

I have been to Ernie and Doms probably 20+ times. The food is marginal, at best. The staff is young and usually pretty good. The problem is in the kitchen. Expensive for the quality. Pizza is ok, but probably 4 – 10 and many other places that are way better locally(go to clinton or washington). Worst sandwiches ever — laughable. All in all, this establishment is not trying to impress any palate — OVERPRICED moderate to low quality food. Hoping they turn a leaf.

Got takeout for the first time today after hearing good things about the place. Chicken Marsala, calamari and fetucinni Alfredo was $ 46. I don’t really understand how this place is so expensive. The calamari was horrible. My son, who can eat an entire plate of calamari by himself, didn’t even eat a quarter of it. The fetucinni Alfredo wasn’t that good either. My daughter and wife who love this dish didn’t even finish it. My chicken Marsala was ok, certainly nothing to write home about. Gave it a try but never again…

We always get take out from here. They are the best pizza in this area. They are always very friendly. I honestly don’t understand the bad reviews. It’s a very nice family owned restaurant in a small town with not much going on in the food world.

This is our go-to pizza place. Good pizza. If you order garlic bread or a pizza with garlic as a topping, they don’t kid around with the garlic(which I like). But that’s only if it’s added as an ingredient. Not all the food is garlic-heavy by any means. Have used them for catering small family gatherings and always had a good experience. Food was yummy and on time.

I grew up in Hampton and my family got pizza here every Friday night. I moved to Chicago over 15 years ago but still come back to this area every year to visit family and I always have to come to Ernie and Dom’s. The minestrone soup is my favorite and the pizza is still the best I’ve ever had. Chicago pizza has nothing on these guys! The owners are so nice and still recognize me when I come in and always say hi and ask about the family. Love this place and always will. :)

Ernie & Dom’s pasta dishes and paninis/focaccias are delicious, but their pizza is even better. The pizza is definitely the best in the surrounding area and my favorite in Hunterdon thus far. The owners and their daughters are very pleasant unlike the rude owners of the pizza joint in the A&P lot whose pizza doesn’t compare!

This is a great place with a really good menu. Owners are awesome people that are always there so you can count on the quality. Pizza is excellent. For the area this is about as close to ‘off the boat’ Italian as you will get. It’s also BYOB which helps keep the prices down. Try the Chicken Balsamico, very good. Very kid friendly as well.

Have been getting delicious take out for years! But when family recently visited we went there to eat. We ordered a huge variety of food from appetizers to dessert and all was delicious! Everyone was pleased with their meals and we found the service to be just fine! We brought in our own wine. It was a fun night out!

This place sucks! The calamari was so soggy it tasted like rubber. Got tortalini in meat sauce and I think the get the same meat as taco bell does. Shrimp scampi is teribly plain. Low quality and expenive food.

I was expecting a whole lot more when I walked in. It was my first time eating at E&D’s and were told that we could seat ourselves. So, we sat in the main dining room. The young lady that came to take our drink order was very nice and the drinks were brought to the table in a reasonable amount of time. Then things went downhill fast. Another person came and took our order 10 minutes after the drinks were brought over. I wanted a few slices of pizza and a chicken parm sandwich. Every time I said sandwich, I was corrected and she said«sub.» I said that the chicken parm was under sandwich, and she just said«sub.» I gave up after that happened 3 times. We also ordered garlic knots that were eventually delivered 15 minutes later, burnt. That’s when my 2 slices arrived, both cheese slices from the same pie, but one was outfitted with a few slices of pepperoni… not what I expected from a pizzeria. So we waited, and waited… and watched a table of 4 that had come in a the same time that we did order apps when we eventually received our… and there’s came out in 5 minutes! Two different apps!!! We both looked at each other. So, after she put the apps on the table, I said«excuse me» and called over the waitress that delivered the speed of lightning apps to the table next to us and I asked her where our waitress was,(or the one that either took the drink order, or the one that took the food order) cause we saw neither EVER come to the table to say the food was coming. Her excuse was that they were very busy, and it was the last day of Lent. Wow… so, basically you are saying that because you are busy, you are using Lent as the ultimate excuse… It’s now 37 minutes since the drinks arrived and I said I would like an update. The waitress showed up to inform me the same thing that the other waitress said«LENT.» She arrived faster than the apps did at the table next to us, so I asked if she would package our food up to go. 45 minutes later, we had a few burnt garlic knots, 1 piece of the 2 of pizza, and ½ a drink each. and more excuses than were possible. It was like the staff was told in the pregame that the excuse of the night was LENT. Pathetic. I will never eat there again. It’s a shame because the place was doing a bang up business for take out. Maybe that should have been the option, but I am glad I experienced the full treatment… cause it made up my mind that I won’t be spending my money there ever. I should have stuck with Leo’s up the road where the service and food are better. (When we got home, the chicken parm was a single piece of chicken, very light sauce, and a piece of cheese on it put between a sub roll… touché’) So much for the sandwich. Signed, Disappointed, very disappointed…

Good, not amazing. I would recommend this for a casual family dinner. The menu features your typical Italian-American(not authentic Italian dishes) dishes such as chicken parmigiana, penne a la vodka, linguini carbonara, etc. Guaranteed to find something you’ll like. Service is OK. The staff is mainly young girls(high school or college) and not very hospitable and friendly, but not rude or mean. You’ll get your food in a timely manner. Good to note: not liquor license. BYOB.

I go here from time to time for takeout. The food is good, but the service is a little spotty. Sometimes I think they start the sandwiches when I get there for pickup. And they ought to have stuff like potato chips and a decent beverage assortment.

Look, I just didn’t like it. Call me a California fanboy, but I’m sure that east cost pizza can do better than this.
