I drove all the way from Robinson to Washington as I found a Master Tax specialist (also an Enrolled Agent — Janet) at this location. Not yet wanting to shell out $$$ for a CPA, I decided to give them a go.
Location is convenient — private parking lot and parking is free. I had a half hour wait as the appointment before me went over. However, Janet was helpful in getting all the information, asking relevant questions and completing the forms accurately. I could look over the information she was entering to double check. She filed our federal and had a problem with the state taxes (as I was multiple states and my wife was single state) and she told me that she would do that over the weekend and then get in touch with me. I liked that she wanted to be thorough rather than rushing up (she had her next appointment waiting).
The H&R Washington, PA is an open layout — several cubes of tax professionals sitting close by (no closed offices — something I had seen in Boston, MA). Prices are reasonable (and you can ask for a quote before agreeing to get it done). Next year, I will be back.
