Just Walk

I’ve been a happy Just Walk customer for over 2 ½ years now. Madison has been walking our dogs now for over a year, and we cannot be happier. She is so reliable and flexible with our dog’s specific needs. Best of all, she very obviously loves spending time with them. It’s wonderful to know how much the Just Walk staff cares about their clients. It feels like Madison has become part of our family :) We are forever grateful for Just Walk’s care of our dogs!

Just Walk was a savior for us when we got our puppy Leo. In particular, Madison, his walker who walked him three times a day, helped us learn how to work with him and helped us potty train him as well. Madison also does overnight stays with him when we travel and it gives us peace of mind. She is always kind and loving with him and brings him special treats just because. She is dependable, reliable and is just a wonderful person. Our family adores her and most importantly, Leo thinks she’s pretty awesome. We highly recommend Madison and Just Walks.

Just Walk has been providing walks and overnight care for our dogs since June 2012. I can’t say enough good things about Meg and her coworkers! Meg truly loves our dogs and gives them great exercise and care. And they love their Aunt Meg! I’m no longer anxious when I travel because I know the dogs are keeping their schedules, enjoying being at home, and getting lots of love.
Most recently one of our dogs needed urgent care while we were out of town. Meg did an incredible job at communicating with us and making sure that the pup was safe.

Our dog walker, Meg, is easily the best thing that has ever happened to me little fur-​family!
I have 2 strange, sweet pups that need care 2x a week when I have evening classes right after work. Meg comes over in the evening to feed them dinner, let them out, and take them for a walk (oh, and don’t forget administering belly rubs). I’m pretty sure my pooches look forward to those days more than the ones when I am home!
Besides my dog’s immeasurable love for Meg and her perfectly canine-​aligned spirit, her professionalism is unmatched. I never question her reliability and never doubt that my dogs are in good care when they are with her. She communicates with me clearly whenever the need arises, whether there is something going on with the dogs I should know, a change in schedule, or to confirm billing. She has taken on last minute walks off-​schedule for me with very little notice, always with enthusiasm and understanding. The rare times she has needed to change her schedule (i think only once for a family emergency) she has given me advance notice, found a replacement, and assured me that the security of my home and information are secure. We also love our sometimes-​relacement-​walker, Keith, who takes over for Meg on these unexpected occasions.
Meg is responsible, reliable, friendly, trust-​worthy, and most importantly, loving. My dogs love her as much as she loves him and we are grateful for the day she became a part of our family. My dogs and I give Just Walk our highest recommendation!

Shira at Just Walk was essential to our dog’s successful adjustment to our home. We adopted Ginger when she was an adult, not knowing very much about her past. Shira came over for our «meet and greet» on the day we brought Ginger home, and has been a huge help to our family ever since. Ginger recently had puppies and has gone through a lot of medical issues and other changes in the past few months. Having Shira help with walking has been essential in our efforts to keep Ginger on a routine, despite irregular schedules. Ginger is always so happy on days Shira comes over, and I can tell Ginger loves her by her excitement when we run into Shira outside. I really appreciated that Shira was patient with us when our schedules changed, and didn’t judge us for being neurotic pet-​parents. My husband never had a dog (I have, but never in a small apartment), so we were really concerned about Ginger’s well being. Shira didn’t seem to mind us asking if she thought Ginger seemed alright when she was there, and even put up with the week we thought baby-​monitoring software might be a good idea (it really wasn’t necessary). I also appreciate that Shira walked Ginger without other dogs. I see a lot of dog walkers around the city walking eight or more dogs, and it never looks like a good time for anyone. I feel better knowing Ginger is getting some attention in addition to exercise.
We will really miss Shira now that she’s leaving, but I trust Just Walk because of how awesome Shira was to us. Our emails interactions with everyone else at Just Walk have also been positive. I appreciated that Meg got back to my initial inquiry promptly and explained their services clearly and professionally.

I started using Just Walk a few months ago. Keith is our regular dog walker, and he’s very kind, friendly, and professional. Keith was able to easily fit our dog into his schedule so that the dog can keep going out at around the same time he does when I am home. Keith also does all the little things that help a dog owner rest assured that the dog is okay being left alone for the rest of the day (refilling water, putting out a new Kong treat).
I went to Just Walk because I was previously using one of the larger companies in the area and I wasn’t really happy with the customer service I received. Keith always uses full sentences to answer my emails, responds to notes I might leave (e.g., dog is on a new medication), and texts photos of my dog out and about. I feel less anonymous with him than I did with the other company, so I am very happy with how things are going with Just Walk.

I had an excellent experience with Just Walk when I needed a cat sitter for two weeks. My sitter Rob was fantastic all around– friendly, professional, and he took great care of my meow and all of her specific needs and spoiled kitty requirements! When I returned home I could tell that she had the best of care and was comfortable with Rob. I cannot recommend him enough!

Just Walk is by far the best dog walking company out there. It’s intimate, personal and you can feel how much they care about your dog. My main dog walker is Meg. I met Meg a few years ago and we have become very close pen pals, she makes sure to leave notes, emails and pictures for me and my husband to see! There is nothing better than receiving a picture of your pup while at work. She always looks happy and very well taken care of. I can also ask Meg any question about my pup and she will either have an answer for me or do research and get back to me. She lets me know if there is anything out of the ordinary with her or if she think that I have to feed her rice for her upset stomach. Among many examples.
My dog absolutely loves her and trusts her which is so important. Meg and the Just Walk company is very accommodating and flexible in a way where you can call, email or text any last minute schedule changes and they will help you out. If you are late coming home from work, they will make sure that if you need a second walk during the day– they can make that happen. Meg also cleans my dogs ears and has sleep overs (boarding) when necessary! I trust her and the entire team at Just Walk! I couldn’t be more grateful for Meg and my family calls her our «life-​saver» because that is what she is. Needless to say, I highly recommend this company with your pet!

These guys are pretty great.
I interviewed several agencies for the job and most of them were large companies with a rotating cast of dog walkers/​sitters that couldn’t guarantee the same person would see my dog every visit. Keep in mind you’re giving these people a key to your house, your worldly possessions and most importantly, your baby (dog, that is).
I found Just Walk to be convenient, efficient, customer– and dog-​friendly, affordable, and professional. They offered individual or group walks and are flexible with timing, cancellations and last-​minute requests. I like knowing my $ goes to a small, employee owned business and my dog is building a relationship with the same trusted walker.
I’d recommend any day! Though maybe I should keep them a secret and all to myself…
