History

Established in 1997.

Workshed was launched as a part-​time, home based, freelance web design business that grew into a real business with lots of great customers. By 2013 the original owners were ready to move on and two Workshed clients, Joseph Graves and Brian Kashas (that’s us!) took the helm, bringing with them a new take on the marketing and web design world. A few months later we added the Angie Cherry and Brady Stoddard to the team, allowing us to produce some amazing results for our clients.

As long time self employed business owners, we are a bit different than your typical website/​creative/​marketing company. We use our experience to help grow your business, not just get you a few more likes or higher search rankings.

With a voracious appetite for learning, you’ll usually find Joe reading books (often several at the same time) or deeply committed to mastering a new pursuit– be it Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, gardening, or whatever his current fancy may be. With zen-​like (compulsive?) focus, Joe breaks problems down to their essence in order to find the best solution.

He has built homes in Japan, worked at his father’s trucking company, and challenged the bureaucracies of a big box retailer and international investment firm before starting his own financial planning practice.

As an owner of Workshed, Joe applies his love of learning, problem solving, and technology to help grow their client’s businesses and be successful.

Oh, & he manages to do all of this while raising 8 (yes, 8) children with his wife Heidi.
