The food here is pretty good. However the delivery is very… very…very slow. I have had food delivered twice from here both times it took an hour and half. Both times I had to call and bug them about where my food was. Both times they said the driver left 5 mins ago but it took much longer after the call was placed. My advice don’t have them deliver. Also saw a comment about the pad thai. Totally agree it’s weird.

This is not what I expected from strip mall Asian food. We love this restaurant and it has become our go to place. The egg drop soup is amazing! We have had the pot stickers, egg rolls, udon noodles with chicken, sesame chicken, teriyaki chicken, among other things. We have yet to eat anything that isn’t delicious. My husband loves the crunchy noodles and homemade duck sauce served as an appetizer. The lady who owns it also waits the tables and she is so kind and gracious. I really, really want this place to be successful! Update: I think this restaurant traded hands since it opened and some of the recipes are different. They made improvements to the soups, but the crab Rangoon no longer tastes homemade.

If you’re looking for a romantic or high-end Asian eatery, move on. This is a hole-in-the-wall family operation in a strip center. In fact, a customer will often find the owner’s kids doing homework in a booth, but they are there to seat you and hand out the menu. And what a menu it is – loaded with all kinds of delicious goodies, including appetizers, soups, salads, combo platters, veggies and even special diet dishes. I’ve tried the miso soup, mushroom shrimp, basil chicken and the black pepper jalapeño chicken, which is a tangy molten stew of flavor. Simply put, I have never had anything bad here. They have even accommodated my wife’s pickiness and substituted vegetables at no extra charge. I’ve even ordered online and had the food ready for me when I arrived. Service is always fast and friendly. Try this place — I don’t think you’ll be disappointed.

Don’t order the pad Thai. You will get plain white dry noodles with some lemon wedges and a little dribble of coconut flavored sauce. Absolutely bland and tasteless. I thought there was a miscommunication and they tried to replace it with another one, but it was the same. After waiting over an hour to eat, highly disappointed.

Waitress didn’t know the menu. The food was mediocre nothing special and it’s not authentic !! Just pretty pictures on the wall. Food was presentable but once it hit my mouth I wasn’t pleased. Order curry —(waitress didn’t know what kind of curry or spice level) it was tasteless — my husband order chicken teriyaki but nothing special about it. You can make these dishes at home but better. I laughed when we were and never again wasting money. First and last time. Idk how they are still open and are having good reviews. And owners or cook didn’t even talk to us when they saw us. Customer service is important

I didn’t know what to expect but I was more than pleased with this place. There were a variety of things to choose from and the prices were good. I ordered gyoza, egg drop soup, fried chicken wings, and basil chicken with pork fried rice; all were very good. I wanted to try the fried ice cream and bubble tea, but I was too full. I will definitely return to this place and try those things next time.

Great food, great service, pleasant atmosphere, generous portions – what’s not to love? And the free egg rolls that come with lunch specials are crispy and flavorful, some of the best ever. I had lemon grass chicken and it was full of fresh veggies and lots of chicken. Nice spice level too. Will definitely be back.

After seeing good reviews about this restaurant and knowing that it is new around me that delivers, I chose to make my first delivery order here. I ordered at around 3pm. I ordered combination platter of Mongolian beef and Gyoza. The delivery was very fast, took only about 25 minutes to deliver to my house. However, the delivery driver could have been a little better. He does not greet nor talk, where I am the only one who greeted where he did not respond at all, not even saying thank you where I was the one thanking him and leaving the tips. Over all I would say this experience was quite pleasant and wouldn’t mind trying again.

Saw some good reviews and thought we would check it out. The food was really good and the portions were large. The restaurant was spotless. The service was also very nice. Our new go to Chinese restaurant! We will be back soon

We just went to Asian café tonight and the food and service was wonderful. The restaurant was very clean. We will definitely be going back again soon. Thanks to the owners, they made us feel like long time friends even though we just met tonight.

My husbands loves this place & I agree. They do take out & delivery but we’ve actually eaten there in the restaurant twice. Great lunch specials Mon thru SAT! Very clean place & sweet owners. Yummy pork friend rice, chicken lo mein and tons of other options. Lots of good choices for kids too! Give it a try — we want this place to stay open!

It was too hot to cook so my husband and I decided to try out the new Asian Café. We were a little worried when we saw that we were the only customers that night, but we were pleasantly surprised. It’s a small place but very cute and VERYCLEAN.(Always important to me!) Before our meal, they brought out some«crunchies» and homemade Duck Sauce. It was DELICIOUS! I ordered the Seafood Delight and my husband got the Black Pepper Jalapeño Chicken. We were both happy with our selections. The Seafood Delight was very fresh and LOADED with seafood! I loved the lobster tail on top. My husband said the Black Pepper Jalapeño Chicken was really good. Made with tender pieces of chicken and fresh slices of grilled jalapenos. According to him, just enough heat. Not too hot. It was a good value for the amount of food that we had. A lovely lady by the name of Yen took great care of us. Hopefully, Watauga/NRH residents will give this place a try and keep this restaurant around for a while. We will definitely be back!

Since this restaurant is new to our area my husband and I decided to try it tonight. The service was great but we was disappointed with the food. We had the tom yum soup for starters which was very bland. We had the black pepper jalapeño chicken for our main course which was also a disappointment. It was watery without flavor even after we tried to add flavor with condiments on our table. We will not be going back. Sorry…

We ate there today and like the other reviews, thought this would be a normal boring Chinese restaurant. But we were pleasantly surprised. The food is really fresh, flavorful and well cooked. I had mixed vegetables with chicken and the vegies were perfectly cooked — not mushy and overcooked, but cooked just right. My husband had spicy shrimp and for him it was a little mild, but really good. Loved their fried rice and will get it again. My son’s sesame chicken was really good too. The crab ragoon was wonderful and probably the best hot and sour soup I’ve had in this area. We will definitely be going back, their food exceeded my expectations and I hope this will be a very successful restaurant — I want this place to stay around.

I live around the area and saw the grand opening sign and decided to check the place out with my bf. The inside décor is cute and very Asian inspired. When I first looked at the menu, I thought that it would be another one of those fast take-out Chinese restaurants. Boy, was I dead wrong. Their food far exceeded my expectations. We ordered the gyoza(fried dumplings) and crab Rangoon for appetizers. They were pretty tasty! We also ordered the special house wonton soup for 2. The portion was really meant for 4! The soup was really amazing; fresh veggies, pork, chicken, wontons, and shrimp. For entrees we decided to get the Pineapple fried rice and the general tso’s chicken. The pineapple fried rice was actually served in a half pineapple. It was sweet and delicious. The general tso’s chicken was pretty good also. Overall, this new place will definitely be seeing me again. They really should invest in deliveries. I think they could definitely take out Ying’s Café down the street.(=

I thought this would be just another strip mall, take out, Chinese joint close and convienient to home. Boy was I wrong. This place far exceeded my expectations and was just as impressive if not more so than any upscale Asian food place as I’ve ever been to. We started off with the lettuce wraps, which was large enough to feed 4 people and tasted super yummy. Then we had the Tempura which i did not eat as I’m not a fan of fried food but it looked really good and could easily had fed 4 people. We also shared the house Special Won Ton soup which was the best Won Ton I have EVER had, it was loaded with fresh everything, shrimp, chicken, pork, wonton, vegtables, and it states it serves 2 people but there was enough for 3 full big cups. Even though we were full after all that, this place is new, and everything was so good we decided to order 3 dinners. My jaw just about hit the floor when these plates came out. The presentation of the food was crazy pretty… My mom had the Seafood Delight. Most of the time when you order Asian fare, its your typical chicken, shrimp, whatever with fried rice mixed in and it all tastes the same, the veggies are squishy and soaked in sauce and you just eat it anyways… not this place… this Happy Family had huge fresh shrimp, it was loaded with scallops, there was only a small amount of lobster, but they left it on the tail just so ulyou knew that it was real lobster. My mom loved it. I had the Chicken and Shrimp Thai Curry. The only thing I would have changed is the heat factor, I wish I would have had them turn it up alot, but again it was excellent. We also had the General Tsos Chicken, Im not a fan of breaded sauced things however I ate more off this plate than I did my own as it was soooo good. We couldnt stop eatting. I would highly recommend this place. Its brand new and I hope they get good business as I think its a great addition to the neighborhood.
