The entire staff is always polite from the time you walk in the door to the second you walk out… Knowledgable about the products and service… Jeni is by far the best hairstylist and color professional I’ve ever had! I’ll never let anyone else touch my hair!!! Love this place!!!

This place is like a cleaner version of Ulta with less stuff and lots of hair products. I think the staff was friendly enough, but their sales tactics are a little too transparent. They didn’t have a makeup palette that I wanted and tried to up sell me on other products the only problem is that they really didn’t help. I told them why I wanted the palette (for the lighter colors) but they sent me to an «affordable» way with no direction and a quality that was not up to par with the palette I was looking at. Boo! Could have had me buy a more expensive eye shadow had they have actually helped instead I walked out empty handed.
This store was pretty much empty, it was my husband me and another lady. We were completely out numbered by staff but it still felt a little cold and a little distant.
Will try again soon and report back!

Relatively helpful but didn’t know much about black hair. I guess I was expecting too much?!? I didn’t get greeted upon entering. There was only one customer in the store but everyone seemed too busy to say hello. I picked up 4 things and changed my mind after walking around for 15 mins with no help.

Michael Momtgomery seriously impressed me with the quality of cut he gave me today! He also did a wonderful job with my daughters hair. If you’re looking for someone who can give you a quality cut in the Keller, Watauga area give him a try. You will not be disappointed.

I, a professional and successful woman, walked in to the store and was greeted by no one. Not a single person asked me if I needed any help or, hell, even if I was lost. There were sales people around but they apparently couldn’t be bothered with me. I can’t help but wonder if it’s because I proudly wore my silver hair into this generically-​named store that sells hair color and other hair products. No matter. I won’t drop my cash on this store. If you like it when people try to dismiss you, then, by all means, shop here. However, if you like to be treated with respect, shop somewhere else.

I still shop regularly at this store for my hair care products. The best thing to do is to take advantage of their annual sales for specific products. For example, this month all (or almost all) brands of liter size shampoos and conditioners are on sale for $ 11.98. Considering some bottles of this size shampoo are regularly $ 30 or more, it’s a great deal. In April (I think) they have most brands of hairspray on sale for $ 7.98. Again, some cans regularly sell for $ 16 (or more). Then in another month (I forget when), they have styling products on sale. When they have these sales, I stock up and buy a year’s worth to tide me over til the next sale. I refuse to spend $ 16 for a friggin’ can of hairspray!
Since I get emails announcing these sales, I know when to do my shopping (I signed up one time for these at the store). And if you join their program, you also get a 10% off coupon every time you’ve accumulated $ 100 in spending. And you can use these on the sale items.

This is a very cool store but I rarely shop here because it’s expensive. However, I did get my wedding hair style and makeup done here in 2009. It all turned out pretty well. My hair stylist was very sweet (unfortunately, I can’t remember her name). She seemed very passionate about doing hair and genuinely excited for me. She was also very flexible and willing to do trial-​and-​error before the big day until I was happy with the final result. Another woman did my makeup and it was very soft and subtle. I felt very pretty on my wedding day. :)

I have shopped at Beauty Brands on Denton Highway since they opened. I was so glad because I had to drive a ways to go to their competitor and was frustrated with the snobby service. Beauty Brands has been a breath of fresh air. I only buy my hair care products there, and if I get something that does not work for me, they take it back. I always get good service and they are patient and willing to give advice on their products.
