We opened our doors in Watchung in 2001 wanting to provide great products at great prices. Since then we have worked really hard to stay true to our initial values and have since grown to over 130 stores, proudly serving local communities just like Watchung all over the east coast! We don’t just sell Arts and Crafts, we love Arts and Crafts!

it sucks that this place does have things i need just like michaels. which ever one i’m near i go. but the cashiers r so slow! i could have one item and the person in front have 1 000 000 things. why cant they have more cashiers when that happens. most of the employees look sad. doesnt seem like a happy place. even in the frame section they got attitude. just beware of these things. go on a not so busy day.

What I’m starting to notice is every AC Moore is pretty much the same… sales associates aren’t that knowledgeable and don’t want to be bothered with questions. If Michaels isn’t too expensive for you, definitely go there… more of a selection and sales associates are eager to help.

3.5 stars. Good store with plenty of items and sales. I feel that sales here are better than Michaels nearby. The staff here is pretty friendly and helpful. The picture frame section had a bunch of items but when they run out of something, they don’t have anything in the back.
Overall, I’d come back if I need supplies and there is a sale.

They have a nice framing section and very sweet people who know what they are doing behind the framing counter. Unfortunately, their slow outdated computers prevent them from doing their job properly. I have had several prints framed at AC Moores — however on each occasion it took 45mins — 1 hour to complete my order due to the slow computer. At times, the computer has to be rebooted and had to start over. The other night, I waited for well over an hour between computer problems and I had to finally walk out.

If you go to the Watchung store, they have the grouchiest, older, women who work there! I went yesterday, and while walking through the store, a couple of different women were fussing, complaining, about other employees while they were not present. It took a long time to find what I was looking for. No one offered to help me or any other customer. After listening to them gripe & complain, I didn’t want to ask them for help. I feel sorry for anyone who has to work or live with them! Not a pleasant environment to shop. I’ll go to Hobby Lobby or Michael’s next time!

Horrible return policy. After driving 20 minutes to their store I was told they would not be able to refund me what I bought because I did not have my credit card. I paid for the merchandise with a debit card and the policy on the back of the receipt says that cash may be returned if purchased on a debit card. A bank card is considered a debit card. Why are they making it so hard. Is this the way they treat customers. They were also very rude to my family. Home Depot was able to refund my card without having my physical card on me. Horrid customer service. We were loyal customers and not anymore. I am very unhappy and yes the card is a bank visa debit card a physical debit card.

I love AC Moore! This is where I fulfill the needs of my nerdy crafty side. They have a great jewelry and ribbon section. If you’re lucky you can catch their $ 1 sales. That’s when I go nuts and bulk buy. The place is clean and the ladies working there are always helpful, polite and cheery. Plus you walk in there and it always smells like an inviting home because of the potpourri.
Best place to buy holiday decorations, baking decorations and fancy molds. Also if you’re thinking of making gift baskets for the holidays get a hold of the clear wrap and baskets now! They’ll be sold out around December.

Easily one of my go-to arts and crafts stores in Central Jersey. It’s no Dick Blick or Jerry’s of North Jersey, but if you need CRAFT items, paint brushes, mason jars, silk flowers, yarn, kids crafts, this is your place. The service here is always friendly and helpful, and the setup of the merchandise are similar to all the other AC Moores out there which I find a positive when maneuvering throughout the store. Everything is well kept and clean and the fact that they have rewards points and coupons in my email inbox on a weekly basis are all pluses!

I needed stuff to make cake pops. I know they have that stuff there, but there is something about this store that I find a little depressing. It’s kind of small for a craft store. there are always coupons available so that’s a good thing. Weird vibe and kind of low brow merchandise in this store.
