The most comfortable and pleasant experiences shopping for a dress… And I’ve gone to a lot of places. Courtney was so amazing, the owner was extremely honest. They’re the only other boutique that carries a line of a dress I like that I saw somewhere else. They called the designer and gave me the pricing which was almost $ 300 than the other boutique offered to give it to me for. They’re bridal accessories were also a fraction of the cost of other boutiques I’ve visited. They were the most professional and personable I have yet to experience. I didn’t officially order my gown yet, but I couldn’t not leave a review. They deserve it. I will be updating my experience along the way!

Best place to shop and buy a wedding gown! My review of AdoraBelle needs a little bit of back story to fully understand how much I loved working with Kim and Dawn.
Backstory: I found my gown at a different store, in a different state. It happened that the dress I loved was from a plus size line — I am not a plus size girl. The original store I found it in was absolutely convinced I would need to buy the dress in the smallest plus size and pay them to alter it. Luckily I wasn’t in a rush and felt that that was ridiculous.
I went home and emailed the company (Bonnie Brides) through their generic «contact us» to inquire about getting my dress in a non-​plus size. They emailed me back quickly and said they could and would make it in ANY size. Huh.
So armed with this information I tested area stores that carried the line of my dress. If they told me «no can do» I left.
Enter AdoraBelle: I played the same sneaky thing on them. Kim immediately said «I don’t know if they do that. We just started to carry Bonnie Brides. Let me call them». She called them right there on the spot. Sure enough they said they would. We then asked if we could take the corset off the back and add a zipper — she called them again! She even got prices for us! Needless to say I got the dress I wanted custom ordered through AdoraBelle with no hassle! It fit like a glove when it came in.
Then I decided to order my Bridesmaids through them as well. My girls all got measured and called in their sizes. Later, turns out my Matron of honor was going to be very pregnant and her dress wasn’t going to fit. AdoraBelle worked with us and found the same dress, just the floor length version, for us to use for extra fabric! They only charge us cost for the dress.

Be prepared to have the OWNER be extremely rude and disrespectful to you after she gives you false hopes on the expectations of RUSH delivery on bridesmaid dresses. Even when trying to compromise and admit a mutual misunderstanding occurred, she was relentless and horrific to deal with. Make sure you have 9+ months to order dresses, since apparently 4 months requires a rush. The store lacks maturity and class, go anywhere else. BEWARE!

I had an excellent experience with Adora Belle. Kim and Dawn were wonderful to work with. The alterations I had done were to take it in a bit on the sides, add a bustle, and alter the ribbon detail around the waist. She even added snaps to the bolero jacket I bought elsewhere so that it would stay in place. We got the guys’ tuxes there too. Everything turned out as ordered even though the best man was measured elsewhere and didn’t try on his tux until the wedding day.

They were friendly, centrally located, clean store, and a great assortment of reasonably priced gowns! I am so grateful we found them.

If you want a bridal store that actually cares about what they produce, go there. Excellent customer service. They create a relationship so they know what you want and expectations. Beautiful dresses and caring staff!

I had a great experience here. The staff was amazing — very friendly, and extremely willing to work within my budget. As a second-​time bride, I wanted a sophisticated but not overly expensive dress, and I found just that. I had tried ordering several dresses online before I went here, and I can honestly say the dress I found was a comparable price, but much better quality. My dress arrived sooner than expected, and needs only minor alterations. I found beautiful jewelry here, too. I definitely recommend shopping here for your dress!

If i could give a negative star rating i would.
So after finding my dream dress, and purchasing my wedding dress, that’s where the trouble began. Wrong dress style was ordered. Told I never asked for the corset style, because «it was too much». Then told that they could fix it no problem. HUGE problem! The in house alteration woman Dawn, did thee worst job on my dress.
The half corset put in, did not even have loops put in to the top. So there was no way to secure the top of the dress. I had asked to have it just taken in, was told the corset would work fine. It did not. I had a sash I had bought separately, she tacked it on in three places at the top of it, with string and knots showing. And the flower they charged me $ 35 to put on fell off with the sash.
And the $ 100 crinoline, had stains and holes in it. When I called to have it fixed, I was told by Kim the owner, that it was for Dawn to fix, and I should leave her a message. That it basically wasn’t her (Kim’s) problem.
I went to Habberman’s in Royal Oak. I found an amazing seamstress who took my dress in 3 inches on each side (with very intricate bead work), she also took out the corset put in a zipper, with crystal buttons to accent the dress. Designed a gorgeous flower and applied the sash the correct way. And I was told my dress didn’t need a crinoline, the dress had one built in. Madeline (the seamstress) said the «work» that Dawn had did was horrendous and she should be ashamed of herself. I have not had one call from either Kim or Dawn after my one call to them. And as for the bridesmaids dresses (we ordered 5, and 1 usherette) 2 were ordered 4 sizes too big, and the others, the embellishments on the front were sewn on with fishing line, hanging all over. No joke. Apparently this business makes its money in overcharging for alterations. Dawn charged me over $ 300 for her «work».
Madeline reconstructed my entire dress in 3 days with 5 girls working on it and charged me $ 350.
Do not shop at A’dora. Do not waste your money or time. They only care about the bottom line. Hopefully this review will help you ladies out there.
