We wanted to try a new place for Friday Fish Fry. I had the fried cod and my wife had the baked cod. My fried cod was not greasy and I got 3 big pieces which was plenty. It was delicious! My wife said her baked cod was very tasty and not dry at all. You also get your choice of potato and Cole slaw along with a nice piece of bread. The atmosphere was very nice and our waitress was very attentive. We will definitely return again.

We were in town on business and looking for a decent place to eat one evening. I decided to check out what was good on Unilocal and this is where we landed. It turned out to be a great choice. We both had the steak sandwich. It came on a nice soft hoagie style bun with sautéed onions, peppers, mushrooms, and melted cheese. The steak was cooked perfectly and very tender with great flavor. The steak was great, but the show stopper was the appetizer that we chose… breaded deep fried «Portabello» mushrooms! I’ve had plenty of deep fried mushrooms in my day, but these were freaking awesome!!!
Don’t miss this place, you won’t be disappointed! And if you like beer, they have a great selection.

Stopped here for the first time! Delish. Coconut shrimp large and a lot! Full rack of ribs tender juicy and yummy! Old Fashion cocktails were great. We will be back

Tasty baked cod and potato pancakes on Friday with a great sunset view. Service was very good even with a large party of 12. spacious restaurant can seat large parties easily

UNHAPPY AND SCARED OF THE PLACE

Super fast… almost too fast. But good food. I had soup and husband had chicken wrap. The kitchen needs to work on timing their orders. But we will be back for the fish fry someday.

I will never return to Doc’s again. It was the worst service I have ever received.
#1– we had a party of 11, 3 of them kids.
They seated us out in the patio part downstairs where it was hot as could be.
#2– we waited over an hour for just sandwiches and macaroni and cheese.
#3– 4 of the 11 meals were cold and the waitress said «there’s nothing I can do about it»… You could have offered to warm them up!
#4 we get a bill for $ 186, nothing is comped to us. Even though we complained multiple times!
#5– we ask to speak to a manager. I think it was the owner. He comes out and says that everything was like that because there kitchen was backed up. There were 3 other tables… Really??? He comped us 3 meals but the waitress still shouldn’t have received a tip for how rude she was.
I will never return to this restaurant again even if someone paid me. The staff is very rude. Doesn’t care about customers. We used to go there quite a bit. Never again!!!

Now– let me be clear that I’m a summer baby and I love me some sunshine. A rooftop bar, with a view of the water, and cheap drinks? You win. My burger (southern light) was really good. My screwdriver (I know– who the hell orders a screwdriver? Me, to honor my Dad on his bday) and Marg on the rocks were perfect for the sunshine. Beer from cans only/​we heard them offer the table next to us can coozies (do they really have them?!) only thing that annoyed us– the shitty 90’s music. The crowd looked more Rod Stewart/​Neil Diamond/​Stones.

What a perfect location on a warm spring evening, live music and great food and beverages

I enjoyed the food the time I took my niece out to eat for her 16^th birthday. The staff greeted us with a warm smile. We were asked if we would like to sit in bar area or down in the patio covered area… we decided for the patio area. Once we were there I decided the patio lawn chairs were not that comfortable and it was hard to hear over the echo in the room. All and all I give the Restrarant a 4 out 5 stars.

I always appreciate a great restaurant our neck of the woods in Waterford. The staff is extremely friendly and the menu has something for everyone. The fish tacos were amazing & I have gotten them the last 3 times I visited. If the weather is nice the outdoor patio is great. The restaurant area outside the bar can get pretty warm if you go on a hot day, it would be nice if it was air conditioned but with the harsh winters we have its hard to complain about the heat. If you haven’t had a chance to check this place out its definitely worth it.

As a Village of Waterford resident, I highly awaited the opening of this establishment. It is a very clean and nice place. We have negative friends who told us of some bad legal thing that happened to the owner in his past and advised us to not go there. We are glad we did not listen. It is a very nice place to eat, and have a beer/​cocktail. They are always looking to improve, and even opened up a rooftop bar! It is right on Lake Tichigan/​Fox River and has docks for boats as well.
I like the sandwiches, and the wings. My wife would only give it 2 – 3 stars but im giving it a 4. Its a good place to eat in a town that has little to no options for a nice meal.
BTW: They sell a Loaded Bloody Mary to DIE for!

Best Friday fish fry I have had so far! Responsibly priced, great mixed drinks, and the breading on the fish fry was amazing, such a lovely evening!

My husband and I brought our 4 sons here for dinner Aug, 2014.
After being sat in patio furniture, on a bare concrete floor… well not my type of atmosphere for dining out yet inside! I only want to sit on patio furniture when I’m on the patio outside.
The food left a lot to be desired for the prices and lenthy wait.

Love the Friday fish fry. They have the best potato pancakes around… very, very good. Nice décor. Great bar on the roof.

Limited menu n food was ok. Fish tacos were a little tok fishy. Very convenient on the river by boat n the patio great if u stop in from boating casual environment. Good place for a quick lunch on a work day.

Very nice find, Unilocal works again. We came into town for a youth baseball tournament and we were tired of the usual fast food associated with them. We were looking for something with good food, staff and atmosphere… we found it here!

We just stopped in for a quick bite on on Sunday night since we were in the area and it got good Unilocal reviews. The food was solid, but as others have mentioned it’s a relativley limited menu. we both had the fried chicken dinner which was their special for the night. It was cooked to perfection, but could have used a little more seasoning for our tastes.
We were asked where we wanted to sit, and we said anywhere… not realizing that in 10 minutes a singer was going to be starting. They sat us at a table which was right in front of the speaker which made dinner conversation a little rough. Thankfully the singer was very good, which made it okay.
This would be a great place to stop for a bite after a day on the river. We would definitely go back if we’re out that way again.

Nice place. Recommended. This is a large bar but they try to play it off as a restaurant. It’s basically one big room. They have another room separated by glass and there was a very small wedding happening in there. The views of the Fox River are very nice.
Regarding food. The menu is small. It’s bar food. Hamburgers, pizza, and sandwiches. We came on a Saturday night so they did have a few entrees as «specials.» One was prime rib.
The place is new and clean. They had plenty of staff tonight and they were good.
I like this place (first time here) but I was somewhat disappointed with the menu.

Godiva Chocolate Cheesecake. I am starting with this because it is one of the best desserts I have ever eaten. The crust made me think it had previously been frozen, yet the flavor was still excellent. My husband had the key lime cheesecake and it was good, but not as good as key lime pie.
This restaurant was pleasant. The wait staff was very friendly. We ate in the indoor patio room, which had all hard surfaces and no acoustic panels at all which made the room excessively noisy. While the building is on the river the windows were too high up to enjoy the view comfortably. And while it may seem like I have more complaints than praises, we still felt at home here and would visit again.
We started with cheese curds and spinach artichoke dip. Both were good, not the best I have eaten, but they were good and we enjoyed them.
I had the blue cheese burger with the homemade chips for my meal. I was looking for something different, and this was pretty good. It seemed to need something, but it was good enough that I would try it again and would like to try their other flavors. My husband had the Wisconsin burger which he said was good but not great. My granddaughter had a chicken wrap which she ordered the way she likes it and it came just as she had asked. The wrap had a lot of filling, much more than I typically see in a wrap. It was nice that they actually made it as she asked, as I don’t think I have ever seen a place get her order right before.
All in all, it is a nice casual sandwich place, and while I can’t say anything was stupendous, it was all quite good and I am sure we will return.
