All Dental Center

I’ve been coming here for the past two years now (I think) for my cleanings to see the dental hygienist Alyssa Bono and she is the nicest and sweetest dentist I’ve met yet!!! I really HATE going to the dentist and also doesn’t help I just suck at cleaning my teeth, so it’s embarrassing sometimes going, but I actually don’t mind going back here because Dr. Bono is really so nice, the cleanings don’t hurt, and she does a great job! I usually don’t keep up with going to the dentist for my cleanings every 6 months but now that I’ve found her as a dentist I’m defiantly going to keep up my appointments :-))
I also recently got my wisdom teeth out with Dr. Orlov and it was so easy and pain free! I was defiantly scared and anxious but it really didn’t hurt and didn’t even need pain medicine after… (the teeth I got out weren’t impacted though), I have to still get the impacted teeth out in a separate surgery but I’m not as scared as I was before.

Among my many experiences with dentists, I have never come across a dentist like Dr. Sergey Orlov. First of all, he is a specialist of the highest caliber in his field. But beyond that he, he stands apart from the rest in his incredibly responsible approach to his work and remarkably caring and attentive treatment of his patients. I recommend to everyone who has dental problems, be it a need for a root canal, a bridge, a crown, or implants to turn to Dr. Orlov. Those who are lucky enough who get to see him will receive the very best in care.
I am also grateful to his assistant Lana Boyarentseva for her kind heart, amazing hands, and most importantly for her ability to do her job completely painlessly. When first arriving to Dr. Orlov’s office you are greeted by an incredibly professional and friendly front-​desk staff who gladly handle all your questions, paperwork and scheduling needs. Everything in this office from the smallest details to the most complex procedures is done beautifully.

I have nothing but good things to say about All Dental Center. Over two years ago I chose them — primarily because they took my insurance that most other clinics did not accept, and for their location (Watertown). Until today, the only work I had done were quarterly perio-​cleanings done by Alyssa, who is an absolute sweetheart; kind, smart, super good at her craft.
Due to financial constraints, I haven’t been able to have the work done that Dr. Orlov suggested two years ago and there’s been further degeneration to my lower teeth. I developed an abscess in the past few days and just «dropped in» to the office begging for antibiotics. Alyssa, being very proactive got me in the chair immediately to take an X-​ray to survey the damage. Things weren’t looking good — there was an abscess that was spreading to the adjacent tooth, one tooth was very loose due to bone loss and needed extraction immediately. We had a problem: The extraction dentist had just left and had no availability until November 12^th — not an optimal solution.
Happy Ending: Alyssa chased down Dr. Serge Orlov who was treating two other patients and booked solid, took pity on me. While the injection he gave me for pain was taking effect he treated his other patients. Kind of like musical chairs… within
seconds he extracted the worse tooth, packed the wound and sent me on my way, feeling better than I did upon arrival.
Not to be forgotten, the desk staff is great, too! Very accommodating and helpful. As a courtesy, appointment reminders are e-​mailed and usually followed up by reminder phone call.

Dr. Orlov is a great dentist. Very professional, kind and really cares about the quality of his work. I have been a patient of Dr. Orlov for the past 5 years, including many root canals, bridges, crowns, etc. I continue to return to Watertown, regardless of where I move. I am always treated respectfully and with the utmost care and consideration from the dentists, hygienists and staff. Thanks Dr. Orlov!!!
I’m shocked by some of these other reviews. I could NEVER imagine this happening at All Dental Center. They are a professional bunch that will definitely have my return business.

Dr Orlov has been my dentist for more than 6 years. He is an absolutely amazing dentist. Even though I am terrified of going into the dental office (i had this phobia since I was little, can’t stand the drill sound), I know it is not going to hurt. Dr Orlov has removed my wisdom teeth and my face didn’t even get puffy the next day. Few weeks ago I felt my tooth move in my mouth, I thought it was a crow getting lose, but it was my actual tooth, it broke in half and Dr Orlov after two hours work, save it, I am getting my crown put in next week. Very exciting. Dr Orlov is nice, funny, very friendly guy who makes jokes during the root canal to make a patient feel relaxed.

Convenient location but very expensive and lack professionalism. I went there because I was recommended the place by a friend. Once I got there everything was fine until the dentist looked at my teeth.
Then dentist instead of looking at potential cavities or etc. (I came in for cleaning) he started criticizing my previous dental work (fillings). So, I came in for cleaning but ended up leaving with filling that supposedly needed to be redone. Dentist who worked on me did another filling without Novocaine and some x-​rays.
Once it was time to pay for the visit, I received bill for $ 250, which also included 10% discount for referral from my friend. Keep in mind that I had insurance at that time and should have only paid 10% or 20% of the whole bill. SO at the end I know I paid way to much because my current dentist never charges me for same work, neither do other dentist.
Basically this office just tries to charge you for anything they can. I DO NOT SUGGEST THIS DENTIST UNLESS YOU LIKE TO PAY $$$$ for average work.

I have never been afraid of the dentist until I learned that I was going to get my wisdom teeth taken out. I wasn’t sure what my options were before coming in the day of the procedure, but I was certainly shaking and turning blue with fear.
Dr. Orlov immediately took heed to my discomfort and although it pushed the schedule back an hour, he made sure he did everything necessary (with medication) to get me to relax and by the time the procedure started/​finished, I was a happy camper. Not to mention, his assistant was very sweet, reassuring and a jokester who made me laugh throughout my initial nervousness.
Even before this wisdom teeth ordeal, I got a sense that Dr. Orlov is a sincere/​real dentist. When I first got my check up and we addressed the issues that I had, he gave me a true sense of what was necessary and immediate vs. what was not urgent/​could be addressed later. I never got the feeling that he was trying to rip me off (like I’ve experienced in other dental offices) or make up problems that did not exist.
My 7 year-​old also goes there and he loves it. They were so careful with him and everytime I go there, they ask how he is doing.
I really feel like I am visiting family when I come to All Dental Center. In reading some of these comments, I am confused because I feel quite opposite.
I know they aren’t always bubbly/​fake and maybe that comes off as rude. But I know they get the job done right and always respond to my needs.
I don’t see myself going anywhere else as long as I am in Boston!

I have very mixed feelings about this place. Mostly they made me nervous. I needed a lot of work done on my teeth, a LOT. I needed numerous root canals and plenty of cavities, and I was in constant pain. So, they had nothing good to say to me about my situation, understandable. But, it was like they didn’t want to bother with all of the work. They pushed for numerous extractions. This made me nervous and indecisive. They filled a cavity that day and told me to come back asap for more work. When I came in for my next visit, they were ready to extract, and I told them I really didn’t want big holes in my mouth and that maybe I could afford one root canal. Dr. Orlov was so pissed off at me for contemplating the issue, like this was an easy decision for me! He made me cry! Anyway, after that first visit I could not bite down right. My teeth in the back would not touch when I bit down. When I told him this at that 2^nd visit he was very insistent and very rudely stated again and again that it was not his fault. He said he did nothing to my teeth that would have caused this. But, come on, I come in with a fine bite, and I leave and my teeth won’t bite properly. Was it MY doing? I don’t think so. That day I left his office feeling worse than I did going in. He actually made me cry, again! Long story, point being: I really don’t trust these guys. Also, their bedside manners leave much to be desired. I do think that in their own weird way, they tried to help, but I wouldn’t go back!

This is what dental care is like in the third world.

I went here quite a few years back. I think I was 16 at the time. The experience was horrid. They had me waiting an extra 45 minutes in the waiting room after the time of my appointment. Mind you I was just in for a check up + yearly cleaning. Then when I saw the dentists the guy literally ripped up my gums during the cleaning. I’ve never experienced blood gushing gums from a dental cleaning in my life before this place. It was the most painful dental experience I have had in my life. Also the whole time the dentist was speaking to his assistant in either Russian or Armenian.

I have to say that this is not somewhere that I’d like to go to receive my regular dental care. I went here once for a cleaning and never returned after the woman kept telling me to spit and she would not rinse the spit and blood away and I kept gagging when I had to spit in the sink again and again!
The place does have lots of high tech devices, which are kind of impressive. But I witnessed almost everyone in there, assistants and dentists walking around touching everything with their rubber gloves and then going right back into the room and putting their hands right back into the patient’s mouth without changing gloves.
Now with that being said, if you ever need an extraction, you want to come here and have Dr. Italo Lozada pull your tooth for you. I love this man! He has now pulled 2 of my teeth and he will be you feel so comfortable and he will pull your tooth before you even sit back in the chair good. You won’t even know the tooth is out yet!
The best thing this place could have done was to bring Dr. Lozada in there. And for that I have to give them 4 stars. And I saw him change his gloves 4 or 5 times while I was there so the above statement was not directed at him!
And I have never had an issue with the front desk. They were always very nice and willing to help.

The hygienist I’d like to punch in the face. She makes a whole drama/​lecture of how my gums are gonna rot even tho they’re fine. Also bitching me out for not being able to bite down «properly» on the weird x-​ray contraption is rude
the actual Work done on my teeth? AMAZING!
We’re talking a root canal, old rotting crown (thanx Children’s Hospital *snort*) removed and redone, another tooth fixed as it was gettin ready to crack in half, 3^rd one rotting inside (another month & hello 2^nd root canal!) cleaned out & fixed up…
Seriously, these guys are Really Very Good at their job! and tuning out the sales pitches is easy, as each chair comes with a TV! Cable TV! hell, last time they were gettin ready to drill for an hour, the girl from front desk loaned me her iPod to drown out the drill
Its not ‘fun’ (who goes to dentist for that?), but mostly painless (no promises on that first numbing shot) and good results!

I went here for a last minute appointment after I had just moved to the area. This was nothing but a high pressure sales office with a little dentistry going on. What was 10 minutes of work, took almost 2 hours after sales pitches and videos to watch. I finally just got up and left.
To make it worse, I question the technician’s dental knowledge. She insisted on multiple x-​rays even though they were not required for this visit. In the 20 minutes she looked at my teeth, not a single compliment! Really, my teeth are not falling out. Actually, all of my previous dentists comment on how well cleaned they are. Not this lady. First she said, «Your teeth are over due for cleaning». I indicated to her they were cleaned 1 month ago in Austin, TX. She seemed embarrassed. It didn’t stop her though. Next she said, «Well, you need work. I see a cavity right here.» Keep in mind, one month ago, rave reviews from my real dentist. As for the cavity claim, she recommended no follow up appointment. So really, if there was a cavity, wouldn’t you, as a professional, recommend a follow up to get it filled!?! This place is full of lies. Stay away!

I had a tragic number of cavities this year. So bad I must have been sleepwalking to the kitchen in the middle of the night to rub sugar in between my teeth. There is just no other explanation. Dr. Orlov filled all of my cavities and it was never too painful or too scary. My five sessions were, needless to say, not fun or painless, but the team there made the procedures comfortable. They have TVs for each chair and they give you the remote — it’s a nice touch. They also do Brite Smile. I was happy with that procedure and the results as well.
