Very poor customer relations. No response to e mail. They just sweep it under the carpet. They think everything is going great. I watch. It’s not.

This location has gone Down Hill Big Time since it’s been expanded and changed ownership. Clearly the management isn’t running as tight a ship as the one a few years ago did. This location used to be fast and accurate even when overcrowded in the mornings they would pump it out quick and did a good job. Now they often mess up the order, if the cashiers can be bothered to take the order correctly while they are chit chatting with their buddies that stop by. Today the order before me was wrong and when I was handed my bag, it was literally covered with chunks of melted butter and messy. also practically thrown onto the counter in front of me. Not Great, but edible and easier than making a B, E and Cheese on an everything bagel at home.

I really like going to this Dunkin Donuts because the staff is very helpful with new items that they start carrying. For example, they suggested that I try the pumpkin coffee before I bought it.

I walk to this Dunkin every weekend. After the blizzard this past weekend, I was very surprised when we called and found out that they were actually open. When we got there, we found out that the two women working had walked there from Waltham at 3:00am at the height of the storm in order to open on time. There are no sidewalks cleared in the area and we had to practically climbed over snowbanks to get there at 11:00am, yet these two women had walked there at 3:00am when the 26+ inches of snow was falling with 50+ mph winds. That is some serious dedication to your job! And I can tell you that it was greatly appreciated by every customer in the area just waking up and needing some good Dunkin Donuts fuel to shovel themsevles out. Thank you for all your hard work ladies!

The workers here once you get to know a couple of long time employees are pretty good but other than that they do cycle through a lot of part timers. But hey it’s DD. The location and Parking is pretty convenient and the store is clean so what’s not to like? Solid and long standing DD, over 10 years.

This is a stellar DD location. Thanks to modern technology, MBTA apps, and the smoothly run operations of this location I can walk in to the store when there’s a full line, with 03:24 mins on the clock til the next bust shows up, get my med hot latte and apple fritter and walk out with 00:58 mins on the clock to the curb and onto the bus. I’m a little bit of a coffee snob but this DD makes a surprisingly good hot latte. Especially if the manager makes it. Everyone else gets the foam: milk:espresso ratio a bit wrong but its still okay.

I go to this dunks at least 3 times a week in the morning for a coffee roll or bagel. In the 4 months i’ve been going there i’ve only had my order messed up only once. That’s a damn good record for any donut shop. The ones i’ve been to in newton consistantly screwed my order up. I had to settle for the dunks that messed it up the least. But the people at this one have their«ducks in a row». In the mornings when it gets crazy they put on extra people to keep the line moving, and even then they go out of their way to make sure they say thank you.

Given the ubiquity of Dunks’ in the New England area, I’m not going to rate this based on the coffee. As another poster put it: you either like their coffee or you don’t. That said, this is a clean, friendly, and efficient Dunks franchise. The morning crew is great. The proximity to the #70 bus stop(right in front of the store) is another big bonus. They have a pretty decent parking lot that seems to have just enough spaces during rush hour.

Ok — so I’m a coffee snob. I’m from California — I have to be! I think that their coffee is all hype. I’m not a Starbuck’s fan but more a fan of small mom and pops coffee shops who make coffee as you want it, with all it’s flavors, etc. After being in the Boston area of a couple of days, I decided to try what everyone has been raving about. It was a disappointment as I thought it was watered down and well, it just felt like it wasn’t the real(strong) coffee that I have been used to. Besides my favorite coffee shops(Java House in Alameda or this other one I frequent by Lake Merritt in Oakland), I also like Peet’s and Tully’s. I go to Starbucks as last resort; and now, I can be sure that Dunkin’ Donuts won’t even be in my list of good coffee places. Sorry. :(

I wouldn’t be one to normally post about something as ubiquitous as a Dunkin Donuts outlet. However, I have to hand it to the staff of the Dunkin on Main Street in Watertown. The service is impeccable — even during rush hour when the line gets a tad long. The coffee is Dunkin coffee — you either you like it or you don’t. The folks at this location work fast in the morning though to make sure your order is both accurate and done quickly. Large Iced Caramel Swirl Latte and a Egg & Cheese on an English Muffin? Done. Medium Hot Chocolate and two donuts? No sweat. Maybe it’s the fact that the management company set up shop a stone’s throw from the entrance a couple of years back, but everyone here is friendly — which can make the difference after shoveling out your driveway at 5:30am.
