Great friendly bank! They always go the extra mile to help me. We have our mortgage, checking and our kids have their savings account here. Love how they have doormen to open the door for you. Also the convenience of the drive through on Church St can’t be beat! Love my bank.

My bank and I am a huge fan. I switched to this bank from a chain bank when WSB did not even have bank machines. I was so fed up with being treated like a number and not a human even 25 years ago. I have never looked back. We have gotten our mortgage and refinanced and dealt (until recently, he retired) the same person. All my kids have accounts here. I love that we (the community) gets to vote on which local community organizations that WSB donates to every year. So far, I have not had a problem there that could not be solved easily and with no fuss.

I had a really bad experience with this bank. It all started when I entered the parking lot and the parking attendant was incredibly rude. I proceeded to tell him that I was going into the bank to cash a check. He berated me for parking in employee area only. As I made my way into the bank I got more questioning about where I’m parked. I went to the bank teller who was obviously Having a bad day. She seemed to get more upset because I didn’t having a bank account at this bank.
To top it all off this bank hires low-​wage workers to manicure their parking lot. If they invested in happier employees instead of the parking lot, it might be a better place to bank. Avoid at all cost.

My family has had accounts at this banks since it opened and I was so excited when moving back to the area that I could open account with this bank again. They are a local owned and operated community bank. I opened a basic checking and savings account online and dropped of signature forms in the bank. Super easy. !! The staff was so friendly and answered all my questions. Now I feel at home.

I moved all my accounts to Watertown Savings bank from one of the larger banks and never looked back. Customer Service, products, and convenience are very important to this bank and the customers feel welcome whenever they walk into their locations. I’ve encouraged all my contacts to do their banking here.

I have been banking with Watertown Savings Bank for almost thirteen years now. They are phenomenal. In addition to great banking products, they also have second-​to-​none customer service. I never get lied to and my problems (which are few) are always resolved quickly. Watertown Savings Bank has no stockholder, as they are a Mutual Savings bank — owned by the customers — and it shows. I left Fleet Bank for WSB way back in 1999, and I haven’t really looked back. From time to time, I have examined other banking options, and I always find that I am getting the best banking situation right here at WSB. Stay away from big banks — they are bad news — and do your banking with a truly customer-​focussed bank like Watertown Savings Bank.
The worst thing is when you do banking with a bank that you chose because you liked it, and a year later they merge with another bank and everything changes. This will not happen with WSB because they have a no-​merge policy, and being customer-​owned and not stock-​owned, they can uphold this policy if they wish. That’s why they often use the slogan «We’ll always be Watertown Savings Bank,» in light of all of their competition buying each other out.
Not only am I recommending this bank to the reader of this blog, but I have recommended the bank to many people I know, most of which are now WSB customers and very happy with it.

I love this place. They are always so helpful. Not only do they not charge me a fee to use other bank ATM’s but they give me my money back that the other bank has taken! I only wish there were more locations near me.

Coming as a customer from Sovereign Bank, I have a low tolerance for incompetence. Watertown Savings hasn’t come close to annoying me once. Never have they made me bemoan the catch 22 of having to keep your money in a bank (pain in the neck) to maintain credit (necessary in today’s world).
The tellers and personal bankers here are all very friendly, professional and, best of all, knowledgeable. They really make banking with them as painless as possible. I have never called or visited with a question and not received a quick and correct answer. That is huge. Customer service here is the best and that is really what is most important to me.
Their products are varied and they will take the time to talk each one over with you in order to determine which will work in your favor.
They offer the perks like Online BillPay and Banking WITH the customer service to back it up. I wish I could say this was the case for all banks.
