We are an Architectural and Construction company specializing in Design and Construction of new and existing homes requiring remodeling or reconstruction. We work in most areas of Santa Cruz county and sometimes beyond, primarily focusing on beach communities.

History

Established in 1984.

Both principals, architect and builder, met in college, Cal Poly San Luis Obispo. After working in the industry for a few years began their own business in Santa Cruz County. The business is definitely design driven. We strive to give the client what they need and encourage a teamwork approach to the design aspect of the project. Our projects are both aesthetically exciting as well as constructed thoughtfully and with sustainable practices always in mind. Both principals are «Certified Green Building Professionals» and the firm is a USGBC member as well as Build it Green.

Business Owner

Marty (Martha)Fiorovich has been licensed to practice architecture in California since 1982; she is a member of the American Institute of Architects and additionally has national certification as an NCARB member. Jon Fiorovich has been a licensed general contractor since 1978. Marty and Jon earned degrees from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo in Architecture and Construction Engineering respectively. Both gained experience working in the industry in Southern California. Fiorovich Group was a «design-​build» firm before it was widely accepted as the efficient and credible system that it has become today. Architect and Contractor operate independently or as a team and are principals of the firm, which is still rare with many «design-​build» firms. This provides a unique opportunity for open communication among the building team of Architect-​Owner-​Contractor.
