Fair & Square Movers

DO NOT USE. I hired this company to move stuff from my studio apartment in Nashville to a different apartment in Chicago. The driver showed up on a NON-​contract moving day with a 3 hour notice. (they are supposed to give a 12 hour notice) And when I told him I was unprepared to move in 3 hours because he showed up on the wrong day… he was super disrespectful toward me, and repeatedly told me how much of an inconvenience I was to mess up his schedule. He called and texted me into the night until 11pm begging to come in and start packing stuff for me. I then told him I had the elevator reserved for 1pm the next day and he could show up then. He chose to show up at 7:45am and harassed me until I let him in. If this wasn’t bad enough, I didn’t get my belongings until THIRTY ONE days after I requested it. I had to sleep on the floor for a month and live out of my suitcase. I called and emailed repeatedly begging to have my stuff delivered and nobody answered the phone, my emails, or my voicemails. Legally, they have 21 business days to deliver… and they delivered on the 22^nd business day. I have already filed a formal complaint and will be filing a lawsuit within the month.

Fair and Square Movers were recommended by family friends. They showed up when they said they would and worked fast. They made sure everything was wrapped and stored safely. Loaded and unloaded a two bedroom apartment’s worth of furniture as well as drive from Evanston to the city in less than two hours. Juan and his two men work hard and I cannot express how satisfied I was with the move. Saved a TON of time. They even assembled furniture for me at the new place.

Fair & Square a movers are the only way to move in the Chicago area! The guys are amazing! We have used them twice, once for our own move and once for a client move. They were on time, prepared, professional, respectful of our belongings and very nice people to deal with! Our personal move was one of the hardest moves they have done with two semis full of stuff. They never complained, got the job done, and were fun folks on top of it all. I cannot recommend Fair & Square Movers highly enough!

Fair and Square Movers were awesome. They sent three guys who flew through our move. They carefully wrapped everything up and transported it with ease. They lived up to their name, would definitely use them again.

These guys were very professional and very fast for our local Chicago residential move. Everything arrived in perfect shape. I highly recommend them!
