We are a high-​quality, custom automotive machine shop. Our highly skilled machinists have been in the engine rebuilding business in excess of 25 years each.

Automotive Engine Rebuilders, Inc. was started in 1985 in Waukesha and remains a family owned and operated business.

From valve jobs to boring and honing blocks, crankshaft grinding to complete engine rebuilds, we work on everything from 1-​cylinder small engines to industrial Catapillar engines.

Cleaning castings, magnafluxing and pressure testing for cracks, boring, honing, reconditioning rods, valve jobs, seat and guide replacement, resurfacing, fuel injection service, flow bench testing, balancing, and crankshaft grinding are some of the services we perform in-​house.

History

Established in 1985.

Started engine rebuilding business on Main Street in Waukesha. Moved to larger facilities in 1998 on Arcadian Avenue in Waukesha. In 2006, AER Trailer Sales and Service was formed also at this location, selling and servicing enclosed, ATV, snowmoile and utility trailers.
