My wife and daughter accompanied me to Magellan’s this evening, and it was perhaps the worst dining experience I’ve had in years. Upon arrival, we were sat in the room adjacent to the bar area, and proceeded to wait approximately 20 minutes before a young server finally showed up to take our order. I ordered a Margarita, which showed up 10 minutes later tasting like a pint of Rose’s lime. I ended up ordering a Captain and Coke, which arrived yet another 10 minutes later, entirely watered down by the ice that had melted while the glass likely sat alone on the bar. My daughter ordered their chicken tenders, while my wife and I ordered a pizza with a few appetizers to try. It took nearly 40 minutes for our food to arrive, and there were two tables occupied in the entire restaurant. The cheese curds were alright — nothing special. Unfortunately, the curds were the best part of the entire dinner. We ordered a side of fries, which arrived with about a ½ pint’s worth of seasoned salt. The fries were literally red from seasoning, and were absolutely awful. My daughter’s tenders were so overdone she choked while trying to chew them; I am a decent build of a man, and two of the tenders took nearly all my strength to tear apart with my hands. The pizza arrived so undercooked the dough was liquid in the middle, and the pieces were literally falling apart as we attempted to lift them from the plate. I am not one to say something at a restaurant given I have a poor experience, but this place was so detestable I forced myself to speak with the server about the food. The waitress informed us that she has had complaints in the past about undercooked pizza, and apologized for the quality of the meal. The server indicated she would be speaking with a manager and letting us know what they were going to do about the bill. About 20 minutes after we spoke to the server about the food, she came back, and informed us that she could not take any food item off the bill given we had tried it. After some argument, we were able to get the pizza and the tenders removed, but they absolutely insisted we be charged for a second side of fries, as my daughter had«eaten more than half» her fries off her plate. I am having a hard time remembering if I’ve ever had a poorer dining experience. My wife and I travel often, and enjoy trying a variety of new places to eat when possible. Out of all our experiences, this ranks in the top 3 worst experiences we’ve ever had. Do yourself a favor and skip Magellan’s — you’ll be happy you did.

I’m gonna give fair warning that when I ate here I had already had a few of the dranks and was feeling pretty happy, so my review might reflect that. But that being said, HOLYSWEETBABYJESUSISTHEIRPIZZADELICIOUS!!! I believe it’s completely made in house. So yeah, it might take awhile to get to you once you order it but an appetizer can hold you over in the meantime. And who doesn’t want to eat food while waiting for food?! Am I right? Firstly, the crust is amazing! It’s cruchy on the outside but soft on the inside. It’s airy and thick, and oh so good. Secondly, there are a ton options you can get as styles of pizzas. Like a ton. I believe I got the Margarita pizza, cause if I can’t drink anymore alcohol I’m gonna eat it. And man was it really good. It tasted like happiness and sunshine and I ate a lot of it. The prices are a little on the pricey side but not too bad. It’s about $ 11 for a small and $ 20 for a large, and the larges are pretty big so you feel like you got your money’s worth. Also they have a really good beer menu with a big selection of some high quality beer. Awww man… now I want pizza again.

Went here once and they convinced me to download the app for the bar so I did. They told me that you get a free pizza and beer after 24hrs. So I come back 2 weeks later to get my pizza redeemed, I click on the special and it goes away and they basically say«too bad». Would not recommend this place to anyone, they try to scam you. Horrible service, you’re better off going to a different place in the area.

This place has the best pizza in Waukesha — HANDSDOWN. The crust is fantastic and the toppings are fresh and generous. The service is friendly and considering the quality the pizza comes very quickly. Last time we had a ‘SMO’(sausage, mushroom and onion) and it took less than 30 minutes.

Bloody Mary’s have zing with delicious accompaniments! Try the Works pizza, full of toppings and thin crust. Atmosphere is chill.

Thought I would try this place out. 50 minutes to wait for a pizza and the appetizer was forgotten. The second beer when ordering two is cold… Meaning the tap lines are too long. There is no staff and you have to order you food at the bar and refill your drinks. The place is in two building and you have to go to building number two for a beer. AVOID.

Seriously good pizza and 30 beer taps to choose from! The space is being updated and is a great place for everyone(singles, couples & families). They have sidewalk tables and deliver. The pizzas may not be fast, but don’t go there in a hurry. They are worth the wait.

Make no mistake ordering pizza here takes a long time. Plan for about 90 mins to 2 hours. The pizza is very average, I personally liked the cheese, the sauce was average, the pepperoni was above average, the bread I would consider below average. Based only on food I’d give this business a 2.5−3 stars. The service here is the worst I’ve ever experienced. I spent much of my time watching the operations and I believe the issue is leadership. I couldn’t identify who was running the show if anyone over the course of my time here and the waitress was either inexperienced or just lacked hospitality skills. A local business like this is a reflection of its leadership. I don’t believe whoever manages this place should lead a team. I say this because eating here is a painful experience to go through for the customer and I am sure many employees feel the same way judging by the other reviews. I hope they turn things around because I don’t want to see any more empty buildings down town.

First, Magellans gets 3 stars only because it’s kind of a college bar, which isn’t my kind of place. But the pizza? It’s awesome pizza for a bar. It’s definitely the best pizza in Waukesha. The beer selection is really good too. I was expecting the usual suspects(Miller Lite, Bud, Spotted Cow, Coors Light, etc) but found some really great craft beers beside them. It’s a great place to grab a pizza and a tasty craft beer while shooting darts. It’s worth checking out if you’re in the mood for pizza and happen to be nearby.

Don’t understand why people like the pizza. Burnt(black), floppy crust topped with CANNED mushrooms and tasteless sausage. IF seasonings were used they were overcome by the bitterness of the too heavy application of oregano. I’m not going back.

Beer situation is so much better now. Great selection and always changing. Pizza is also awesome. Bartenders and cooks are always friendly and welcoming. Great place any day of the week. Fun events as well.

The best pizza in Waukesha. Not sure where the complaints are coming from in regards to the service. They are right the pizza doesn’t come out in 15 minutes… If you want that stay at home and microwave one. Awesome selection of beers as well. Bartenders are always friendly and knowledgable about the beer.

The service was awful. First our waitress brought us the wrong drinks. She didn’t return to our table for over an hour so we were not even able to order something else. Then after trying to stop her numerous times because we still had not received our food she came over and said its in the oven now the order didn’t get put in right away. Most likely because we saw her standing around talking the entire time. When we asked why tables after us already had their food she got attitude and said either you want the food or not. At that point we said we would go elsewhere. She crossed it off our bill and made us pay full prices for the wrong drinks without any apology. Further, she stood there after we paid and complained about us to another waitress. I would never go back to this place because of this woman’s horrible attitude. I have never experienced worse service.

I tried to eat there tonight. No one would approach our table(the other half of the establishment was empty aside from our table and one other). I guess we don’t qualify as regulars, so we were politely ignored until we left. It worked.

I’m a fan because this place has a casual, laid back environment and the BEST pizza in Waukesha(my favorite is the BBQ Chicken). They also have a lot of promotions throughout the week. I’ll admit they can have spotty service: sometimes longer waits for pizza(especially when busy and there are only two on staff), but I think the pizza is worth it, and when I plan to go there, I know that I might be up for a wait. In the summer, you can eat outside, and during Freeman Friday Night Live, they usually have a band and decent size crowd congregating outside. Magellans is also great because they take part in a lot of the downtown community events. Oh, and who else in the ‘sha has 40 cent buffalo wings($ 4 minimum) on Thursday nights? Yeah, I’m a fan of that.

Hands down the best pizza in Waukesha. Get the«pretending not to be white trash» or the southern style. The Bloody Marys were made in the normal Wisconsin style, tasty and loaded with pickled everything. The owner Dave or maybe it was Dan, anyways he made me a drink that he called the pink kitty. Holy schnikes! As I watched him full most of the cup with booze I thought it was going to be horrible, oh nay nay! It was awesome! I had three… We will definitely be going back.

Fun little bar. Possibly best pizza in town. Friendly proprietors, easy to talk with people at the bar. Seating outside(weather permitting). Give it a try! Excellent cider on tap.

I have never visited the establishment(local pub) but one thing that I keep coming back for is the pizza. Really tasty take out pizza — I get the works and there is also a spinach and turkey sausage pizza that is very tasty. The pizza is really the only thing that I have tried and I am a fan.
