Mavroff The Mulch Man

Mixed review. I’ve done business with them for a number of years with good results. This year, we moved to a new house and contacted them again for mulch. We provided them the square footage, and in turn, they provided an estimation on how much mulch we would need. Their estimate was low, so I contacted them again today to get a second delivery of 4 yards. In talking with her, they did not take into account the years (and thousands of dollars) I’ve spent with them, nor any consideration for their low estimate. Because of the relatively small amount we needed, their quote was very high. For me, it’s the principle and if a company is willing to lose a regular, repeat customer that has suggested using them to others over $ 75, I’d rather take my business elsewhere. Its unfortunate that they are only driven by revenue and the lack of customer service for this situation is surprising. After this experience, would not recommend them because there are many other mulch companies out there.
