History

Established in 1971.

The Horton Group began in 1971 as a single location, eight-person insurance agency in Orland Park, Illinois. Today, Horton is a large, stable broker that delivers complex solutions to thousands of personal lines and business customers. The company currently features seven offices in four states.

Horton provides businesses with a value proposition — tangible services — that other brokers do not match. Additionally, The Horton Group utilizes a professional approach in managing the Company’s core business operations. This unique combination of service capabilities and business excellence gives Horton’s clients real value when compared to what competing insurance brokers can offer.

We specialize in providing the best products and services in home insurance, auto insurance, business insurance, workers compensation insurance, medical insurance, dental insurance, retirement plans and more.

Meet the Manager

Rob M.

Manager

As Branch President of the Horton Group’s Wisconsin operations, Rob McIntyre takes a leading role in developing client and insurer relationships. As a manager, he directs the Horton Risk Management and Horton Benefit Solutions local service teams. He also provides sales leadership to Horton’s Sales Executives in Milwaukee. As a Producer, Rob works with growing firms that have sophisticated risk management needs and limited in-house resources. For these firms, Rob often serves as a risk manager by facilitating mergers & acquisitions, consulting on environmental risks and establishing international insurance programs.

Over the years, Rob developed a Risk Management Assessment process to help his clients. The process is used by Horton representatives to fully understand the loss exposures their clients face.
