History
Established in 2006.
Laurie Dies founded Capitol Weddings & Events, LLC, as a full service special event creation and coordination business, which provides strategic preparation, planning, development and implementation services.
Laurie has a strong background in event planning as she previously served as a Director of Special Events for a state-wide non-profit organization. This followed a successful career in state government, where she coordinated the award-winning Wisconsin Economic Summits. Laurie has coordinated corporate annual meetings, business conferences, a ground breaking ceremony, and legislative events at the State Capitol, to «ribbon-cutting» events, fundraisers, honorary receptions, centennial celebrations and more!!!
Laurie has coordinated several weddings and family celebrations in various venues throughout the Greater Madison area and has consulted with wedding venues to enhance the experiences for their wedding clients.
