Delicious food at reasonable prices. Good selection of cold beer. Recently renovated, and looks great!

We thought we’d try Trouble’s in Howard Lake but after no one waited on us for 20 minutes we checked Unilocal and found the Uptown in Waverly. We left Troubles post haste and were so happy with Uptown. Great beers on tap, good service, and fantastic burgers. Everything we ordered was tasty but the burger was especially amazing. Thank you Uptown for saving the day.

Great place! Amazing burgers! The place doesn’t look like much on the outside, but very nice atmosphere and friendly staff.

Horrible experience. We were here for a basketball tournament on a Sunday and apparently they can’t accommodate groups. We waited 30+ minutes to get our drinks and after an hour had to cancel our food order because it still wasn’t ready. The server wasn’t even apologetic. He was attentive to the regulars at he bar but acted like our group was a huge inconvenience to them. So disappointing.

Look outside: Pickup trucks, BMW’s, Harley’s, Minivans & SUV’s. The crowd inside reflects the vehicles outside.
You can come here every day for over a week and not repeat on their gourmet burgers. Delicious, creative without being crazy, and affordable. And the menus is so much more. Burger of the month is a Crabby Patty: Crab cake on top of a burger. Delicious and just $ 9.
The staff, like Justin are informative and helpful and appear to be genuinely interested in you.
Craft beers. Good selection and also affordable.
I understand they stole a Chef from Dangerfield’s. I doubt that. This food is far better.

This place was fantastic! My family and I are new campers to the area and we’re looking for a good place to eat so we decided to try this place on a whim and boy am I glad that we did. From the outside the place looks like nothing special, but on the inside its a totally different story. The building was built in 1890 and you can tell that the bar has a cool, rich history. It’s an older looking bar but is surprisingly very modern in style. The service was fantastic and the staff was very friendly. There was never a moment we were without something to drink at out table! The food was also very good and the drinks were strong and very fairly priced. Everyone in my family loved their meal and the there wasn’t an empty plate on the table! We have eaten here since and will definitely be returning again! Definitely would recommend.

Amazing staff and even more amazing food !!! They are always very attentive to your table no matter how busy it gets! The burger of the month is always a great thing ;)

Best burgers around! Great prices and amazing fries! Also breakfast on the weekends is the best! Wish they had it everyday! Nice atmosphere and good service, highly recommend it :)
