Great customer service! I called about a blocked (very long) dryer vent and was assured they could fix the problem. The blockage (surprise!) was caused by a bird taking up residence in our open vent– the technician removed the bird, its nest and accumulated debris from the vent both outside the house and inside the laundry room. The reasonable price quoted was our cost– very pleased with service and friendly, professional attitude.

My dryer was not working because of a blocked vent. I called on a Friday afternoon and Robert came on Monday. Robert was personable, professional and cleaned up all the mess. I would recommend using this company.

We called them for mold removal in our attic. They did the job fast and well. We were very happy with their customer service, they were responsive and they offered us a very good price.

This company gets 5 stars for their customer service. I emailed about air duct cleaning and received a phone call within the hour. I spoke with John M. who was informative, clear, and friendly. I scheduled an air duct cleaning for the next day. Robert J. did a wonderful job– he taught me about my heating/​cooling system, showed me where the filter goes, talked me through the cleaning process, and ended up cleaning my dryer ducts as well.
I considered giving 4 stars because the service left my house pretty messy. Robert vacuumed and cleaned what he could, but I still had to sweep, mop, and dust pretty much every room – I’ve never had my air ducts cleaned so maybe that’s just how it is.
After all was done, I bought a new filter, but couldn’t get it into my unconventional heating/​cooling set up. After some unsuccessful attempts and youtube videos, I called PowerBees back– both John and Robert worked with me to solve the problem and get the filter in. Robert offered to come back if needed, despite being an hour away.
Overall, the air duct and dryer vent cleaning were very affordable and the staff were knowledgeable, friendly, and responsive. I would definitely recommend PowerBees.

I’m a new home owner so I have little to rely on except others’ recommendations, including Unilocal.So I picked this company as somewhat of a shot in the dark. I knew the previous owners of my home didn’t clean out my dryer vent during the entire 10 years they lived here. Needless to say, there was a lot of link trapped in there! The people at PowerBees were friendly and accommodating on the phone when I scheduled and in person. They were right on time. They removed a ton of lint from my dryer vent, cleaned up, charged me as quoted (I called a few places, these prices were comparable, I think even a little less expensive). Overall, great experience and I’ll use them again in a year or two when I have to clean them out again.

Really nice guy did my work, it was a really tough vent to get to. I will say however I almost gave them 3 stars as the equipment kept breaking. We never got the entire dryer vent clean and I think it was in part due to the fact that the tip on the device kept coming off and the tech had to keep duct taping in back together. Again really nice friendly customer centric guy doing the work.

I liked these guys. They came to our house and cleaned up 2.5lb of lint that had accumulated over the last 30 years. They left the place in an impeccable condition. Thanks!

After some pretty severe damage from the snow this winter, Power Bees the demolition/​drying out of the affected wall. They were professional, courteous, worked with my insurance company, and completed everything in a very timely manner. They also kept me updated at every stage of the project. I am completely satisfied with their work and would recommend them to anyone.

These guys are great. Professional, responsive, and trustworthy. Every person I interacted with, from the initial call to the air quality tester to the guys who did the remediation work — everyone was friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. I felt totally at ease having them work on our house, and highly recommend them.

I discussed that we needed our ducts all cleaned and was told it could be done in a few hours. The guy came out early in the morning and had a look at our four-​inch pipes and evidently called the office and then told me that they could not do the job as four inch pipes were too small for their equipment. Sounded funny to me! But, hey, they are the experts. So, the ‘technician’ then told me that the office would call me shortly and give me the name of a company that could manage this oh so unique size of pipe (aka as ‘standard’). This all happened a couple of months ago and I am still waiting for them to call me. Lazy? Embarrassed? Lying? All three??? I’m sure that these are wonderful people… but I know (only) what I know.

Nice enough people but not happy with their performance at all. The guy they sent had to come a second time and was still unable to clear a blockage in a dryer vent. I was finally told it could only be cleared from the roof and they don’t go on roofs. Fair enough… But false. The second company I called sent a guy who was able to clear the blockage from the inside using his bare hand and it took about 30 seconds. When I notified power bees that this had happened I was not offered a refund. I am giving one star because I am apparently not allowed to give zero per Unilocal policy.

This company is superior in service and customer interaction. They went well beyond what was expected. You cannot go wrong with PowerBees!

I had all the vents on my first floor and finished basement cleaned out and deodorized. My technician called to tell me he was running 10 minutes late, which I appreciated. He was courteous, friendly and efficient and finished the cleaning in little over one hour. It was easy to schedule an appt the same week, which i also appreciated, as we had an odor coming out of one of our vents.
