I have been a member here for a few years now. The place is nice. It’s not my favorite though. I’m here because it’s close to home and relatively cheap. Compared to other ranges it’s not very large. They have a decent indoor range that’s open till 9pm and a 100 yard outdoor range that’s nice. It’s not very technologically advanced. The indoor range is done by a hand pulley system and you are only allowed to shoot at the targets if they are all the way out. It’s also only 2 stalls. The whole range is paper targets only. And the outdoor range is nice but you are only allowed to fire controlled. No rapid fire allowed. This range is more for the older crowd. Shotguns and .22 type crowd. If you are looking to practice tactical shooting(police and military type shooting) this is not your place. They are very strict on that. If you want a place to zero you’re hunting rifle or do .22 shooting with your kids then come here. The outdoor range is on a swamp so it’s very mosquito ridden in the summer months. The residents around the range don’t seem to like guns either and are always complaining about the noise. Just an FYI.
