We are a family-​owned business serving delicious subs made on fresh bakery bread, grilled to order from recipes that have been around for more than 40 years and seasoned with our own combination of oil and spices. We like to that we are a «step up from fast food».

History

Established in 1987.

Our family first owned a Captain Nemo’s location in 1987 in Inkster. After ten years we upgraded to a large dine-​in restaurant and family fun center with video arcades and skeeball, like a Chuck E. Cheese with subs.

In 2008, after the death of father and husband Chuck Wiggins, Brad (son) and mom Bev moved to a small carry-​out location in Wayne taking over for a previous owner. It was super-​small but it already had signs and a following so we decided to make a go of it. Business has grown steadily and in 2014 we’ve expanded to a new shop that again includes a dining area. We are pleased and happy to continue to serve our customers.

Brad grew up making subs in the family business at Captain Nemo’s Wayne. When his father passed away several years ago, he kept the business going and moved it to Wayne. He takes pride in knowing that customers who knew his dad in the early days now come in with their own children. Continuing the Captain Nemo’s tradition.
