History

Established in 1997.

Dr. Voight received his Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering from Bucknell University in 1985. He then spent six years on active duty in the U.S. Air Force before leaving in 1991 to pursue a career in optometry at Pennsylvania College of Optometry (PCO). While at PCO, Dr. Voight received numerous academic scholarships, and honors in his clinical rotations.

In 1997 Dr. Voight purchased the practice of Dr. Frank Lucyk in Pompton lakes, NJ, where he practiced until 2005. In Feb 2005 Dr Voight purchased another practice from Dr. Richard Ellin and moved to his current location in Wayne, NJ.

After graduating from PCO in 1995, Dr. Voight joined the U.S. Air Force reserves at McGuire Air Force Base, NJ and began serving in February 1996 as the Chief Optometrist for the 514^th Aerospace Medicine Squadron. The medical squadron is a unit of the 514^th Air Mobility Wing (AMW), which supports airlift, air-​refueling and air evacuation missions. The 514^th AMW has supported operations in Afganistan and Iraq over the past two decades. Dr. Voight was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant Colonel effective October 1^st, 2006, and retired effective October 1, 2013 after 28 years of service.

In 1997 Dr. Voight purchased the Optometry practice of Dr. Frank Lucyk in Pompton lakes, NJ, where he practiced until 2005. In Feb 2005 Dr Voight purchased another Optometry practice from Dr. Richard Ellin in Wayne, NJ.
