The nutrition program at Club La Maison offers members and non-members nutritional counseling to help people improve their diets. Kelly has experience working with people seeking weight loss or weight gain, as well as those who have health conditions that are affected by diet (diabetes, high cholesterol, heart disease, food allergies, gastrointestinal disorders, etc.). Additionally, Kelly enjoys working with athletes, vegetarians, and people looking to just eat healthy. In addition to nutritional counseling, Kelly is available to corporations for health fairs (presentations, one-on-one consultations with employees, Q & A) and for lectures to sports teams, students, or clubs.
History
Established in 2010.
Kelly started with Club La Maison as the registered dietitian in November 2010. Members of Independence Blue Cross, Independence Administrators, Highmark BS, and AmeriHealth are able to receive 6 FREE nutrition counseling sessions each year with the dietitian. Most Aetna plans offer up to 10 nutrition counseling sessions per year covered at 100%. No deductable or co-pays require.
In addition to nutrition counseling, Club La Maison personal training, group exercise, cardio and weight rooms, pilates, yoga, physical therapy, babysitting, children’s programs, swimming, tennis, and more!
Meet the Manager
Kelly S.
Manager
Kelly is a Conestoga High School alumna who received her B.S. in Nutritional Sciences from Penn State University. She then completed her dietetic internship and received her Master’s degree in Human Nutrition from the University of Delaware, where she also served as a teaching assistant for two years. She has worked as a diet technician and diet intern with Cape Regional Medical Center in Cape May Court House, NJ. In addition, Kelly also has experience working with Joy Bauer, who is NBC’s «Today Show» nutritionist, as well as Dr. Melina Jampolis who is CNN’s Health and Fitness expert (and formerly had a show called «Diet Doctor» on FitTV).
Kelly is also active in corporate wellness programs. She provides on-and off-site counseling for local corporations, provides corporate lunch ‘n learn lectures, and works health fairs. She has spoken to coaches and sports teams about sports nutrition at local colleges including LaSalle, Villanova, and Goldey-Beacom.
