What a unique place to have a delicious meal. The waitress was very sweet, the food was wonderful and the antiques were fun to look at.

Food was excellent, service a little slow this day, but staff was very pleasant. Old fashioned décor, but the food was worth it, even the crackers were homemade. Will be back to try out more of their entrees.

The food is great. The atmosphere is awesome (maybe a little on the cute side). The presentation is spectacular.
The only reason that this place didn’t rate 4 (or 5) stars was the service. It’s not that the staff are inattentive, but that things are just SLOW.

We discovered this local lunch and breakfast spot yesterday. Really nice place to eat. Charming dining area, it’s like eating in an antiques shop. The owners wait the tables and work the register. Very friendly and warm place. We had a salad and a sandwich and both were very good. This is a nice, personal, eclectic local gem.

Stella, Bella & Lucy’s is a cute breakfast and lunch spot in downtown Waynesboro. Owned by two Waynesboro locals, the restaurant has art, antiques, and collectibles showcased throughout. The menu offers egg dishes, soup, stews, quiche, sandwiches, and desserts. We were seated right away when we walked in, and I just couldn’t get over how cute the place was. We tried the House Made Tuna Salad (that came with lettuce and tomato, on a croissant, with a cup of the Soup of the Day (which was vegetable beef); the tuna definitely tasted and smelled fishy; there were no diced onions, and I thought it was more on the underseasoned side; the soup also was very underseasoned and salt/​pepper needed to be added; it contained lots of vegetables, though); The Granny (grilled rye with corned beef slices and housemade pimento cheese spread; this was grilled well, and it was definitely overwhelming on the pimento cheese); and, one of the sandwich specials, the Pimento BLT (on thick Texas white toast (that was perfectly-​toasted), more pimento cheese, bacon, lettuce, and tomato); a side of potato salad (deviled egg style, while at first taste, it was good, it had a lingering off taste afterwards); and, the broccoli salad (this was my favorite; it was coleslaw-​like and contained lots of diced red onion, craisins, raisins, and bacon bits; the broccoli was also very fresh). Our server was Mary, and she was as sweet as can be. Water was served in vintage wine gasses, and the meal was presented on vintage plates and bowls. A cute little breakfast/​lunch spot to check out if you’re in the Waynesboro area.

Stopped by this restaurant for lunch on our way to Roanoke. Really welcoming ambiance with a lot of antique artefacts. Food was ok for the most part.

Price per calorie: 4. Lots of calories, right price
Price per nutritive quality: 3, fresh, moderate quality fruit, whole grain authentic bread, low on oils, not many vegetable options.
Authenticity: surprisingly well done!
Originality: 5, the Dutch honey syrup was incredible, the addition of a cherry tomato on the side of each plate was complimentary.
Wait staff: 5, kind, attentive and polite.
In house preparation: everything was prepared carefully and everything was at the perfect temperature.
Ambiance: 3 good interior design, lighting, feel.
Ham and cheese omelet was incredible, not oily, not salty, just absolutely scrumptious. It came with real bread toasted to perfection.
The French toast tells me I’m coming back every time I’m in town! The Dutch honey syrup is absolutely to sure for, I’ll be wondering for the rest of my live how I had never seen it before and the fresh fruit included was sufficient.
I’ll be back!

Stopped in today for a cup of coffee and a morning snack, after finding our Unilocal-​inspired destination up the street no longer in business. Had to wait about 10 minutes for the coffees, since they have just one 10-​cup coffee maker on the premises. (Really?).
They do not offer any pastry options. Just menu fare, so we split a breakfast burrito (nothing special). The yummy side potatoes salvaged the experience. We did not care for the antique-​chic atmosphere, and will not return. Resisted a strong temptation to short the tip, so total bill for two coffees and one split dish was $ 14.

If I could give 10 stars I would. This restaurant, staff and food are the absolute best around. They are always eager to please, very knowledgeable and sweet as southern tea. The food that comes out of the back of this place is exquisite! The flavor profiles, the plating, the creativity, the taste, the portions, amazing! Everything I would expect from a shirt and tie, 5 star restaurant packaged into a nice, quiet, laid back café. Go in for lunch, have a soup and a sandwich or a soup and a salad, not only will you not be disappointed, but I guarantee you won’t leave hungry.

I have had lunch there 3 times. Wish I could go everyday! The food, wait staff and atmosphere were fresh, unique and interesting. The portions were large enough to satisfy my husband. The owners couldn’t be nicer! My only regret is that I read the one negative comment and wish I could make it go away. Sour grapes!

Wonderful! We stopped for breakfast because of the other Unilocal and are so glad we did. Beautiful restaurant and delicious food.

Absolutely delicious, perfectly cooked, fresh, and well-​seasoned food. At lunch, my husband and I tried the soups, both tomato basil and mushroom, served with homemade crackers. Fabulous. I would have licked the bowl if I had been at home. Followed by a Reuben sandwich for my husband and a spinach salad for myself, which were both delicious. We shared the cheesecake for dessert, which was probably the best cheesecake i ever tasted. The chef came out to check in with diners. Very nice overall.

Do not cross the threshold or bring young children here. There are no high chairs, so, the proprietor offered to tie my child to a chair with her dirty kitchen apron. Decorated with dirty old second hand goodwill finds, I would not be shocked to find the owners dogs (named Stella, Bella and can you guess? Lucy!) in the kitchen.

Hands down, the best lunch in W’boro. All homemade, fresh and delicious. While it may come across as a «ladies’ tea room» the sandwiches are hearty and come with fantastic sides. I’ve dined there four times now and it’s consistent, fairly priced and always interesting.

This small café is an oasis for a desert. It is an antique shop with a fantastic menu and even better food for lunch after a relaxing drive South on Skyline Drive. We strongly recommend this unique place which has very reasonable prices and very friendly service. I only wish it was closer to our home.

This is a combination restaurant and antique store. If you like the chair you’re sitting on, or anything else in the place, you can buy it! Food is quite good, with items a clear step up from the ordinary. Service is leisurely, since food is prepared to order. It’s a good place for a meal and conversation, if you’re not otherwise occupied browsing the antiques. Locally owned.

This is a great place to grab breakfast or lunch in downtown Waynesboro — a few light breakfast options are listed, and lunch consists of soups, salads, and sandwiches. The tomato basil soup was great! They also have a few dessert choices — sadly my grilled cheese, salad, and soup completely filled me up, but next time I’ll know better — the chocolate ganache cake sounded terrific.
