History
Established in 1990.
My electronics background started as a young child in the 1970’s. When other boys were playing football, I was in front of my TRS-80 computer writing programs making robots dance around the screen and showing my Dad how to «automate» his check book register. Computer classes were not offered in grade school back then so I taught myself through reading and trial and error. Then in the mid 1980’s I took my first course in electronics repair. I have been hooked on computers and electronics ever since.
I have managed Retail Electronics stores most of my adult life but my main passion was always for what I did «after work», building and repairing computers, and installing audio, video, and security equipment. These «side jobs» had grown in number over the years until I was able to follow my dreams and devote myself entirely to my true passion. Thus InfoTech WNC was born. I want to thank all my past and future customers for allowing me to live my dream.
Meet the Business Owner

Business Owner
There are two main skills needed to be a successful small business owner.
#1 You must be an expert in the service you provide.
I have been building, repairing, and installing computers, audio /video equipment, and security systems since I was very young. What started as a hobby grew into part time side jobs and later became my full time business. So yes, after 20+ years in the computer and electronics service industry, I do consider myself an expert.
#2 You must know how to relate to clients and how to be a likable person.
My full time career for the past 20 years has been Electronics Retail Store Manager. I have learned the customer is not always right, but 99% of the time is pretty darn close. I have learned the importance of listening to what the client is saying and not just jumping to a conclusion. I have learned that knowledge is meant to be shared. I don’t mind showing a client how I fixed it, they might teach me something in return. I truly believe I am a «people person».
