History

Established in 1969.

How it all started

In 1968 robert and gail worked at memorial hospital in Nashua, nh. Robert was a cook and gail was a nurse and a waitress. They had 2 sons, scott 4 and todd 2.

They also had a small camper and used to take the family camping. They really enjoyed camping, and while driving on rt 114 in weare, they saw a sign land for sale. robert always wanted his own business, and was planning on opening up a restaurant. When he saw the land for sale, he thought about opening a campground. They asked gails parents if they wanted to go in on it. They did and over the next year, developed 15 sites and opened in 1969.

The campground had 15 sites and a cabin that had been on the property was the office. Over time, more sites were built and Robert and gail became the sole owners of the campground. Robert and gail quit there jobs and became full time campground operators while expanding the campground. During this time,
